Is swimming a good sport?
I got bored of going to the gym and I plan to start swimming 3 times a week and doing a few exercises at home.
I mostly want to be in decent shape and not get fat.

The best sport is the one you enjoy and can keep doing consistently.

It works out every single one of your muscles. It's a great workout if you can keep it up.

Yes. It's top tier

It's great cardio, just don't expect to build much muscle.

I'd just hit the gym and get into a beginner's bodybuilding program. You could do a 3 day gym split and swim 2 or 3 days per week. That's what I'd do if I have a swimming pool available where I live

Thoughts about swimming?
