how is my kettlebell swing technique?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mqt_8gIIIXoi made pr...had my kettleball for 4 or 5 days now i believe...enjoying it a lothuge pump in glutes, lowerback, hamstring, mostly in lower back this set...good?
this is fat fuck lithuanian mark spam again, isn't it?
>>75476463kek that grunting.it's hard to tell with your shirt on but it looks like you're lower back is rounding a bit. push your butt back with every rep like you're trying to close a door behind you with it and keep your back straight, just like an rdl but faster.
comrade comrade swing kettlebell comrade
>>75476463It looks like you're breaking too early on the down swing comrade
>>75476666>>75476670>>75476683thx
so you just swing it a lot? are kettlebells like endurance training?
>>75476463in your later reps you can tell your hips aren't doing the work and you're using your back and arms to move the weight. You can tell because the bell moves away from your hips before they're fully extended. You can fix it by keeping your lats engaged and your elbows glued to your side throughout all but the end of the movement.Check this old Dan John vid to see what I mean, specifically how he swings.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IfAOwzkeveQ&pp=ygURZGFuam9uIHN3aW5nIGZvcm0%3D
>>75478207yep i was gonna say the same thing. a good video on dragging kettlebell to build the cue of hips doing the workhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tagM2FMrOYalso this is just me but the kettlebells used are likely too light so they're not challenging OP to push the bell with hips.In swing movement lifting with back should be challenging but OP is doing it easily. Maybe switch to single arm swings if double handed is too easy
>>75476463Very bad. Your hip snap is non-existent and you are lifting the weight with your arms. You shouldn't feel lower back. When you are in the up swing, you should be completely straight like when in plank, then let the bell drop down and once it's almost hitting your balls you bend. Back straight, eyes on the horizon. No tight gripping the handle.

Man, those kettlebell swings are deceptive. I did a set at the gym today and it rocketed my heartrate. Or I may be a cardiolet
>>75480216swings are very high intensity cardio when done correctly. only sprinting really compares for me
>>75480370>when done correctlyWhat do you mean? Are there certain tricks? I'll admit, I didnt swing it hard, more of a relaxed pendulum
