Are there any diets that help boost metabolism and energy levels? I loose the most weight when I can work out a lot, but calorie restriction makes me dead tired and depressive. Day 5 of second water fast, just got a massive motivation boost. I have some lymphoma (aka fatty tumors) in my arms. It's a genetic thing, my grandma gets them too and we were both overweight. I was thinking about getting them surgically removed at some point since they're really noticeable at certain angles, but I was worried about the scars they would leave behind.Well I haven't really been looking at my arms much recently, but while showering just now, I realized that I didn't really feel them much while washing my arms. I hit my original weight loss goal, I'm pushing forward to a much lower weight. My body looks so strange now. Like I'm melting. My arms are trim and firm, my delts actually look dyel impressive, my collarbones FUCK. But my abdomen has that loose saggy elderly cat sag. My hips has weird skin love handles. My ass is now a square. Even my calves are pretty great, my quads are visible and not bad at all by dyel standards. I can definitely feel my abs, my abdominal flesh is like... very warm and soft pie dough that just goes an effortless 1.5" to a firm wall that's about the depth I expect for my abdominal wall. Fuuuuuck. I'm wanting to increase my actual lifts, be more consistent with it. My biggest focus has been cardio in the last 2 months, my 3mi run with walking breaks still averages 5MPH and I peak around 9MPH. I always run the full mile and take as short breaks as I can. It's hugely satiating, it build muscle, it has a 25-30% thermic effect which means a third of its calories is literally burnt in digesting it. It's pretty much everything a tubby boy needs, and all the experts and litterature agree that upping protein consumption is beneficial.
