I've been mainly eating mixed mexican vegetables(frozen) with my meat but I'm getting bored of them and they are kinda expensive here. Potatoes are really cheap but all of the recipes I see take too much effort. I am cooking chicken in the oven generally, 200 degrees for around 40 mins or so(a bit crispy but thats how I like them). Anyone have simple instructions on when to add potatoes? Before? How many minutes. Or also I can just boil them I guess and that would work. I really dont give a fuck about taste, I like all food, always had.

What are other quick easy ways/tips for cooking you use? I dont want to spend too much time cooking as I don't really enjoy it and that's the main reason I order food usually, but the last few months have been good for weight loss because I find it really easy to cook chicken in the oven + some frozen veggies in a pan, sometimes eggs as well.

Slice 'em up and put them in the air fryer.
If you slice 'em thin, you basically get French fries.
If you slice 'em really thin, you get chips.

I'll look into cooking them in the air fryer then. If it takes a similar or lower amount of time as the meat, it's perfect. Ty anon

cut them up then boil for about 10 mins and chuck them in at the same time as the chicken goes in. 40 mins is long enough if the pieces aren't too big.

sometimes I cut them up really small so they boil quickly (<5 mins) then just fry off with some meat and seasoning. you've got a nice meal in about 10 mins there.

you could literally just add them whole along with the chicken, 40 minutes at 200 Celsius will be good for a whole Yukon gold potato
if you like a crispier potato cut them up and toss them with oil. 25-30 minutes is long enough but it won’t hurt them to go longer
there’s no need to boil them first
