Why does progression take so long in this machine?I'm progressing like one, maybe two, reps each workout
Does this work on Manlets?
>>75481747You don't progress with reps you progress with weight.Training for reps has pretty lack luster results and usually involves spamming sets with high frequency but going nowhere near failure like 5 reps-in-reserve. It'll skyrocket your reps when you do go to failure but it won't build muscle as quick as just upping the weight weekly at 2 rir until there is no rir and just keep adding weight in that fashion until you're actually losing reps since there's no reason not to go to failure with high stability machine isolations.
>>75481791nigga you just do three sets of 8, then increase your reps every workout until you can do three sets of 12 then you increase weight
All depends how you do them.I'm beginner and this is how I been making progress, with more reps and higher weight. It get harder to do more reps now on higher weight.I do more reps by de-loading. I hold on last rep, then slowly lower down for about 5s. Do quick 10-15s rest and add few more reps, and hold on last rep.I measure progress by ability, I can do more reps or lift more weight on next workout.>In First day:2x 12 x 20kg>3 weeks later:1x 15 x 40kg2x 15 x 35kg
