10km run is the only impressive thing on there. Everything else in DYEL tier fitness.

What killed the hype?

A workout like that would burn about 800 calories.

mike tyson used to do something like this but he was a genetically gifted bbc
a lot of top level athletes do this on a similar level training hours per day 6 days a week. not exactly 100x3 exercises, but they run a ton, carry heavy gear, resistance train against other humans for hours, THEN lift and do drills like wrestlers or football players wearing full gear
Also military people that have 40lbs of gear and a gun and walk miles and climb and shit

Yeah they do that for a few years, having already started in excellent physical condition, and then they accumulate so many injuries from the training they get medically retired or rotate out of special forces (ruck marches for general infantry cause so many injuries it's a wonder they haven't phased them out entirely).

It's simply not sustainable for even the top 1% of people.

One of the biggest parts of a training regimen that is commonly overlooked is how to train without injuring yourself and setting yourself back in the long run. Slow and steady really does win the race with physical training. If you get an injury that keeps you from training for 4 months, you don't just lose that 4 months' worth of gains, you get set back however many more months it'll take to rehab and get back to the point where you got injured. And some injuries are just straight up permanent and put a hard cap on future gains.

The military gets around this by recruiting a new batch for the meat grinder every year and just quietly retiring all the broken fucks after their enlistments.

It’s way too much running and squats. And not nearly enough pushups.

kek this, it's funny how disproportionate the exercise is

you are supposed to do each exercise right after another no pauses 1 set of 100 reps and next exercise same 100 reps at once and next and then running.
you wouldn't even do 100 push-ups in single set without falling on the ground.
