Anybody struggle with tight hip rotators? I've suffered with them my whole life. My entire lower body, especially my hips, are tighter than tight.

Anybody have experience fixing this shit?

you should exercise internal rotators. these are the adductors, small and medium glutes, gracilis, pectineus and sartorius, as well as medial femoralis. basically the stronger they get, the looser their antagonists get. good luck

You shouldn't bend your lower back like that. I used to do it too when I was younger, had "great" forward flexibility, but it was all my lower back taking up slack from my stiff hips that didn't hinge far enough. Needless to say I eventually snapped my shit up and have had sciatica off and on ever since. Focus on a proper hip hinge. This may involve a lot fo other shit though, since there's a whole slew of muscles that can cause tight hips. Strengthen and stretch you glutes in particular (and especially the medius and minimus), then all the hip flexors, strengthen abs, stretch quads, hamstrings, and so on. I've noticed it's helpful to do sitting forward folds too, keep your back straight or in slight extension while you're sitting on the shitter or something and just try to fold strictly at the hips, you can grab your legs to pull yourself down. It makes it easier because it takes the hamstrings out of the equation but can still stretch your glutes and such. Anyway, that's definitely something you want to take care of sooner rather than later, it will have a massive impact on your future health and mobility and risk of injury.

Also for me I could deadlift fine but it was squats that fucked my shit up, due to lack of hip flexibility.
