There is a strong relationship between the sebum-androgen path way. Sebum (the oil on your scalp) has a high % of DHT (what causes male pattern baldness).

A reason why so many zoomers are balding is because of the "no shampoo" trend. This allows the build-up of androgenic sebum filled with DHT on the scalp, resulting in rapid loss of hair.

Shampooing daily results in removal of sebum, and in return gives you more hair.

>"Recent studies are echoing this showing that daily shampoo use is as effect as using a topical DHT blocker such as finasteride."

Exactly, try plugging some random purported hair-growing chemicals into PubMed and you'll see study after study talking about all kinds of genes that are getting up-or-down-regulated by treatment. Your genes are kind of just a blueprint for how your body works, but they don't absolutely determine every physical characteristic to the exclusion of environmental factors.

>>
>>75715086
>no freakin' wonder oxidizers grow hair then, they basically just de-grease your scalp.

All things in moderation.
1. Excessively oily scalp promotes DHT, Dandruff, and bacterial issues. While also carrying carcinogenic material found in your daily life just by driving through a city (etc).
Example
>have excessively oily scalp from not washing
>walk through city
>pick up every single pollutant that mixes with oil or water now sticking directly to your scalp

Meanwhile
>shampoo too often
>excessive irritation from lack of vital nutrients and anti-inflammatory chemicals released by the scalp, not to mention irritants found in shampoos, and friction from rubbing scalp.

Simply just wash your fucking hair people, wash it well, and don't over wash it.
They have found that there is no correlation in any study that oil production decreases with any variation of how often you wash hair.
So if you have greasy hair, yes you need to wash more often than people who don't and yes you need an actual cleanser, some fucking coconut oil isn't going to do it and will just make the issue worst.
There is a reason ancient peoples used lye mixed with animal fat and citrus.

guess what, a lack of sebum also causes hair loss, who would have guessed that your body has a natural equilibrium? And who would have guessed that for many men; using shampoo, destroys their natural healthy sebum production and drastically drys out their hair and scalp.
I don't doubt that many people do just fine with shampoo, lots of Hispanics have incredibly healthy hair and over produce sebum. Shampoo makes sense in that case. Me personally I haven't used shampoo in years unless my hair gets genuinely dirty and even then I use it lightly. My brother was balding at my age as was my father. My mother's father was bald. I am the only one in my family to have no signs of balding at my age. I probably will go bald as it is still primarily genetics. Regardless reducing stress and maintaining a healthy scalp is the key to keeping it longer. DHT causes hair loss more rapidly in areas with reduced blood flow. The only maintenance I do is a rinse and a daily scalp massage under warmish water, its what works for me. I had insane dandruff when I used shampoo and conditioner even with reduced frequency and sensitive skin products.

i’m convinced that it’s a mix of a tight scalp and of course hormones, but a lot of receding can be fixed by numbing the scalp muscles with something like a botox injection. some guy trialed it on himself and had a lot of regrowth, and i believe updated it like a year later saying he maintained it. im having a smooth brain moment and cant remember his name or find the exact study i saw but look into it anons! it makes sense to me, aside from hormonal and genetic stuff, if the scalp is tight it’s not getting the right blood flow.
i’m saying this because i am the exact same as you. i try shower every day but i often dont if im just rotting at home and dont have to go out, and my hairline is the same at 28 as it was at 18. i have been derma rolling kind of as a laugh on my temples and can see fresh new baby hairs a week after i do it.

This is definitely a factor. My hair loss slows down and even stops when I do daily scalp massages. The problem is that they're time-consuming. Raw butter twice a week also helps. I have yet to find any other solution that doesn't have horrifying side effects.

More like we just fucking died in war or from something else before it would even happen and before we'd know about the genes that cause it. You would be able to have a kid at 16-18 in the past, even sooner. Plenty of time for your hair to fall out before dying around 35-40 from whatever cause. Also your hair can actually start falling out from anything including stress, factor in diet and shitty sedentary lifestyle...we practically did select for baldness, unintentionally.

Dumb narrative. Ancient peoples lived well into their 80s if not longer as long as they made it to puberty. Ancient lifespan edtimates are skewed by high infant mortality rates. That has literally nothing to do with baldness, cancer, or any of the other modern ailments that mysteriously became epidemics within the last 100 years.
>Also your hair can actually start falling out from anything including stress, factor in diet and shitty sedentary lifestyle.
Exactly, you retard. You are literally disproving your argument. It's environmental factors like nutrient deficiencies and stress that cause hair loss, not muh fucking genetics.

It's only as of millennials that people have been memed into waiting until they're 30 to have kids.

Consider the following:

>environmental factors of today are WORSE for every aspect of human life in general, hygiene and potable water notwithstanding
>men would just fuck and/or marry a bitch, society was not gynocentric and for those who gave a fuck about balding, it was already after breeding
>life expectancy was still shorter in general
lol
>Exactly, you retard. You are literally disproving your argument. It's environmental factors like nutrient deficiencies and stress that cause hair loss, not muh fucking genetics.
Yes, purely environmental, nobody was ever bald before the 1900s. There is no need to be so upset. It is largely genetic. Only those who are balding would say otherwise, desperately clawing for a reason, any reason, to say they went bald. But not their genes, those can't be the issue, right? Cope.

Since we're getting into shilling the schizo oxidizers, singlet oxygen is easier to make than CDS by just mixing dilute peroxide and dilute bleach.

Pretty much every oxidizer that has been studied regrows hair in bald areas.

Just used shampoo today for the first time in months.

Slathering a toxic soup or manmade chemicals all over your scalp will NEVER EVER be healthy or good for you.
If anything, the truth is that people are going bald earlier because more people use cosmetics like shampoo than ever.

The "no shampoo" online trend is extremely niche. Most people put that shit all over their scalp almost every day. Your theory holds no water.

Been battling my hairline recession for four years this year with fin, min, dut, and still gone from NW2 to NW3. It only looks decent if I style it to cover the shitty corners because I've thankfully still got decent density behind my high hairline and fucked temples.

And of course the entire time I've gotten to enjoy a reduced libido and less boners thanks to these pills.

At this point I'm hoping to just win the lottery and fix it with a transplant. That's about it. There is no topical treatment currently that's going to get me back an inch of hairline and temple recession. There's always some new treatment five years away that dies out. Right now it's possibly stem cell treatment which will be mad expensive in five years even if it hits market.

There is more to it, but this is one piece of the puzzle. From personal experience, I fell for the no shampoo meme a few years ago and I experienced a very noticeable hair loss. When I started shampooing again it stabilized (the lost hair didn't grow back unfortunately). Other than that what I found personally helpful was to get enough vitamins and minerals (especially vitA, vitD and calcium) as well as enough simple sugars to keep the metabolism up and running.
I eat liver once a week at least, around one kilo of various fruit daily and at least a liter of milk daily. During winter I take vitD supplements. And avoid sneed oils naturally. This all was very effective in keeping the norwood reaper away.
