I look exactly the fucking same from the front.

now you realize you should've just done a modified bro split with some a focus on compounds :D

okay so now you have those muscle groups developed to a level you can maintain while running a program for a few months to bulk out chest lats and arms, whats the fuckin problem?
>>
>>75718124
Lats have grown tremendously, I have an ugly crease in my lumbar region now because of overlap
>>
>>75718078
its a start, a base. its in the title. you dont go from zero to aesthetic instantly
>>
>>75718133
then go easy on pulling lifts and go retard hard on push exercises for a while. bench, dips, flyes, all the good shit
>>
>>75718078
>no upper body growth
What is your bench, OHP and chinups?
>>
>>75718078
You're afraid to bench press as hard as you coud (and should).
>>
>>75718078
That's because your pressing form is shit
The back and leg gains are proof you're doing something wrong
Also add some arm work and shoulder flies plz
>>
>>75718078
>Crazy back growth
how? does SS include pullups?
>>
>>75718078
SS is a lower body leg focused exercise plan meant to build a foundation for compound lifts (most of then are lower body focused)

The proper set up for beginners who want a balanced frame is ULUL using the SS weight building formula
>>
>>75718305
Yes. Nobody read the book.
>>
>>75718305
Weighted chins. Somebody doesn't know the program.
>>
>>75718387
>chin ups
>back growth
Lol
>>
>>75718396
Retard doesn't understand bio-mechanics because of bodybuilder slop. You cannot do chin-ups without significant lat activation.
Nothing gets my wings pumped like sets of body weight chins to failure, biceps are there for the ride.

>here's how to gain efficient muscle with le SCIENCE!
Nigga use your brain. Your doing a chin up, with your arm not your back
>>
>>75718426
Because you don't use you arms on a pull-up? Are you a fucking mouth breather?
Learn how to activate your lats. Pull your elbows down to your waist without using the biceps the curl yourself in.
This ensures some more assistance from the bicep, but also significant lat activation.
My biceps have never been the limiting factor because I'm not doing hanging curls

>Because you don't use you arms on a pull-up
Never said that. Nice strawman.

Pull ups are 80% back and 20% arms
Chin ups are 80% arms and 20% back

Not only that chin ups works the arms more. They are fundamentally easier than pull ups so overall you get less gains doing chin ups compared to pull ups of the same weight

And since you love SCIENCE! so much, I've included a source
>>
>>75718458
You think low-quality user-generated infographics represent science? You are unfathomably retarded and borderline scientifically illiterate.
>>

Chin ups are 90% lat and 10% arm.
>>
>>75718746
Cope. Even using science (AI) it estimates anywhere from 30 to 40% arm using chin ups
>>
>>75718746
>>75718766
And same question for pull ups gave an answer of 20 to 30%
>>
>>75718766
Hurr durr science
I made up my number. Can you believe this faggot falling for his AI overlords?
>>
>>75718766
>>75718775
You have just contradicted yourself by providing evidence that there is more back activation during a chin than arm activation, yet you frame it as if it supports your argument?
What exactly are you trying to prove? That you don't have basic math skills?
>>
>>75718790
>Hurr durr science
I'm only using scientific references because you originally tried to back up your post with a paper study >>75718418

I don't give a fuck about science. Anyone who can think logically knows that chin ups doesn't have as much back activation as pull ups. I don't need science to say that (even though both my sources, infographics and AI happen to agree with me)
>>
>>75718798
Do pull ups like a real man you fucking pussy
>>
>>75718078
you are supposed to be doing chinups and pullups, fats
didn't read the book, didn't follow the program, shocking
>>
>>75718814

>>

Yeah just like everyone's ass has an anus Difference is, do you want to fuck a woman's ass or a man's ass? Afterall they are both holes.

One is easy to get (and stinky) - man ass and chin ups
The other is harder to get (and smells like rainbows) - female ass and pull ups

Don't be a fag. Do your pull ups.
>>
>>75718915
Don't be a fag, use more muscle mass along the longest effective range of motion.
Do your chins

>Makes insane gains in ridiculously short time
>Bitches about being ready for a real program that'll make body explode
Are you fucking stupid? Now that you're strong, you can do a hypertrophy program and see results redditors won't see for 5 years. Hop on texas Method.
>>
>>75718921
Cope. You literally get more more muscle activation in a pull up than you get in a chin up with the same weight
>>
>>75718458
Good to see this board has regressed far enough for users to post facebook infographics curated by indians a decade ago as a source
>>
So the program has been super successful for like half of your body. That's nice. Now you've just got to figure out what you should be doing for chest, shoulders and triceps, & since you did SS, you can be sort of sure that the answer is more and not less. So you're well on your way
>>
>>75718936
Your AI overlord disagrees with you. When are you going to accept the fact that you are just dumb and cant formulate a coherent argument without moving the goalpost in every response?
First you're not for science, then you're for Facebook infographics that you consider science, then made up numbers, then you're for science again even when it contradicts your initial assertion that chin-ups involve more arm than back. Now you're contradicting your initial source of info again

Get your fucking head screwed on, don't skip brain day
>>
>>75718957
>hey guys I'm training my back with chin ups
>"greater emphasis on biceps and chest muscles compared to a pull up which focuses more on back and shoulders"

You lose. Your argument was that chin ups were better than pull ups because it works your lats more. In every single argument I've made pull ups have come out as the superior exercise for back development.

If you want to train your chest on your back day keep doing chin ups. I prefer to have my chest days be chest days and my back days be back days
>>
>>75718078
Just keep your shit proportional so it grows fastest
>>
>>75719000
You CAN hit pushes 4x you'll probably go too hard each session in terms of low rep shit you want heavy working sets, my back grew when I just when I did it 3x a week idk.
>>
>>75718984
>Your argument was that chin ups were better than pull ups because it works your lats more

Where did I say they involve MORE lat. You have 10 seconds, faggot. Point it out
>>

>do an unbalanced program
>end up with an unbalanced physique
>wtf how could this have happened to me?!
>>
>>75719018
SS markets itself as a balanced program, which leaves news with some gains in the tank in places they would probably care about
>>
>>75719039
>balanced program
No it doesn't. It markets itself as a program to make you stronger.
>>
>>75718984
So am I not training my chest with bench because of significant shoulder and tricep contribution?
In the same way he isn't training lats because of chest and arm activation?
>>
>>75719054
So many excuses when you could do a proper exercise and get more bang for your buck. My point is that you should be training your back on back day. If you're into not being efficient with your workouts then go head. Not everyone has to make it.

Shoulders are not a contradictory muscle. They are compatible with both chest and back. Chest is not compatible with back as your better off targeting one or the other on different days. Same reason why you split lower and upper body days.
>>
>>75718097
Didn't he also write a BBC fanfic?
>>
>>75719066
I don't do a "back day," faggot, I just get stronger at chins and my lats blow up anyway while I train other movement patterns.

I don't care about the "compatibility" of muscles being trained based on bodybuilding standards, I care first and foremost about using the most most muscle mass along the most effective range of motion, I don't fucking care if its just my BACK working or not

My lats have disproportionately grown from chins alone, this all started with you scoffing at the suggestion that chins work the lats enough to provide such a growth stimulus. While they may not stimulate the lats as much as a pullup, the lats are still a major mover. Why would I even want MORE lat activation at this point?
>>
>>75719104
How about you post body and we can end this back and forth arguing? Let's see those blown up lats

>>
>>75718458
anon
what muscle brings your elbows down to your hips in a chin up?
and what muscle does the same thing in a pull up?
hint: IT'S THE LATS YOU STUPID FUCK
the only difference between the two is what arm muscle is mostly targeted. in the chin up it's the biceps, in the pull up it's the brachioradialis, because of the supination/pronation of the forearm.
>>
>>75719183
It's only way they can get some strange and not ruin the marriage.
