I want to burn a lot of fat in a couple of days, maybe a week or so. It is ok to do a extreme fast (only liquids for 3 stinkin days) and a lot of cardio to accelerate the process? t. complete retard with 20% fat or so
>>75719043Not very smart, you'll probably lose muscle. But to alternate frugivore and high protein, it's a good recomp diet.
>>75719043can't get less calories in than 0.
Why liquid only? I'd eat at least some chicken/canned tuna and drink some protein powder. Also take vitamins. Your child easily keep your calories to 500-600 a day
>>75719043What do you consider a lot of fat?At 20% body fat you probably have a TDEE of around 2200 calories sedentary, times 3 divided by 3500 for lbs of fat burned, you'd lose close to 2 lbs of fat in 3 days. Add a reasonable amount of cardio, burning like 500 or so on top of that and you'd lose another third to half a pound. But fasting also drastically flushes water weight so the scale would show being down 6+ lbs most likely, you'd slowly gain back the water weight after stopping the fast
>>75719043You can do it but the key is to do easy cardio all day long and eat as little fat as possible. You're trying to turn on all the fat-scouring genes at once.Lean meat and a bit of fruit is good. Start introducing electrolyte powder, caffeine, and simple sugars once you're getting exhausted. Basically do whatever you can to support more and more easy cardio over the hours. You can definitely burn 1 lb of pure fat per day this way with additional water weight loss on top.Pic is what happens when you decide you like walking all day in the woods.
do a pilgrimage
>>75719259>protein powderSure, I don't really want to lose muscle. It's been a while since I've been into a gym though I train at home with some barbells but obviously it's not the same. I don't see myself gaining back any muscle I'd lose while trying to lose weight >>75719292I'm thinking of going intermittent for a while (as long as I can) after stopping the fast. Losing two pounds for a start sounds great. Thanks
>>757190432 days of dry fasting. One day before, don't eat carbs and hydrate very well.1st day, no food, no drinks, no shower, no brushing teeth, no washing hands.2nd day, same.Do only light things like watching TV or chilling on your computer/console whatever. When breaking the fast, drink one or two sips every five minutes or so, for an hour, then start drinking a little more and more. You have to ease in.If at any point you start feeling sick, dizzy or seriously unwell, you should drink immediately.Explanation to why it works: body burns fat for water. As any chemist knows, burning organic matter results in CO2 and water (and depending on specifics, some byproduct).I lose 2-3 kg permanently this way, even after hydrating again
>>75719941Oh well if you don't care about muscle loss because you haven't been lifting, then starvation is perfect. It's how I got back into lifting actually. My tip, don't eat for two days. I did it and after that I could barely eat before feeling sick. I would still eat a little every day after that or your head might not function very well. But that's also why I recommend some protein anyway. To make not eating those first two days easier, I recommend niquil. I took the shit after I got home from work and went right to sleep. When I woke up I drank more.
>>75719971Thanks, will research a bit on this. Sounds plausible though I don't see myself not drinking water for two whole days
