I understand cheat meals when it's a slight deviation from an ultra-disciplined diet. Like a turkey sub with oil and vinegar and a couple brownies. But I don't understand binge eating as a cheat meal. One of my goals is to limit the damage I do to my body and normalizing binges even as cheat days goes against that. Just have days where you aren't hyperfocused on calories and macros. Don't eat suicide levels of fat and sugar like a suicidal high school fat girl.

Cheat meals are dumb and only reinforce poor discipline. If you are on a serious cut for most days than one or two days at maintenence with balanced macros will ease the burden of the diet and not tempt you into eating like a slob.

A cheat day to me is for when a bulk is going too slow or if im losing weight while trying to maintain or im cutting and having no energy to lift. It's not really a schedule
