Alright, my eyesight is deteriorating. 36 years old, never needed glasses, perfect vision until now.My eyesight is somewhat blurry at about 30 to 50 meters (50 to 150 ft) and onwards in one of the eyes. I can see stuff but the details are lost. It started on and off for some months, now it feels like it's getting permanently bad. Near distances are still fine.Is there anything that can be done or is it because I'm getting old? Doesn't make sense, as way too many old people don't wear glasses.Do eye exercises even work?Fuck this
Look up pinhole glasses
>>75722547>on and off for some monthsDid you damage your eye recently? The way the eyes work is every 3-4 days they build up tissue over the cornea then smooth and polish it out to be clearer. All part of healing. During this time, its normal for vision to be blurry, then clear, then blurry again because it keeps doing it as part of a cycle. Also seeing details at 50ft sounds like 20/15 or better vision. 20/20 means at 20 feet you see what a person should see at 20 feet. The lower the second number the more hawk eyed you are. If you can still read a street sign from further than 20 feet away, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you start visibly losing things, like entire black or empty spaces in the center of your vision.Of course, then again, you could just go see an eye doctor and ask them to see whats up. Might be age hitting you early.
You need more sunlight.Close your eyes and face the sun. Your eyelids will be red and will give your eyeballs red light therapy which repairs and improves your vision
What if it is the opposite and my vision up close is getting worse? I can see things at a distance fine, but I frequently have to hold items away from my face to read the print. It can be hard to focus on thing very near to me.
