Going on a low dose of Zoloft literally changed my life in a positive way, but I know SSRI's terrible for you. I notice literally zero negative side effects, am I the only one?

There's a lot of fearmongering but being off them when you really need them is worse.

I've had no side effects on Lexapro. Shit is so cash. One negative is that my symptoms are back to around 10% what they were originally after being completely gone for a year. My doctor mentioned upping the dose but I'm riding it out for now.

I only ever tried an SNRI and it was shit. MAOIs are legit though, at low doses.

They're fine as a tool to use while you're developing the coping mechanisms and strategies you'll actually use. Long-term as a crutch, they're pretty fucked up.

I'm on desvenlafaxine which is an snri. it sort of helps with my depression but I still get mega suicidal (but I haven't had an attempt since switching). it doesn't help at all with my OCD even though I'm on 150mg.

I was on Zoloft for three months.
Harmed me for life.
