Hello anons,

I am a college student and a lot of my time goes to school. I try to maintain a well-balanced diet but if you had to craft a "struggle" diet that is still relatively nutritious, what would it be?

My current diet consists of white rice, canned tuna, eggs, cheese, bacon, oranges, and that's about it. What should I incorporate to be healthier? I am not a picky person when it comes to taste.

Fruit Juice
Clean white bread

That's all you need. Get some variety and vegetables once or twice a week.

is it enough of a difference to where I should actually switch? I'm not really at the gym trying to max gains or anything I just want to stay healthy

Do you have access to a cooker? (hob+oven+ +broiler combo) If so chicken legs are usually a cheap source of protein and iron and easy to cook in the oven(preheat oven to 180c/350f, put chicken legs on a tray and put them in the oven for 40-45 minutes). They also taste nice cold out of the fridge they day after and you don't have to worry about the salt/heavy metals that you do when eating a lot of bacon/tuna. In terms of health you should at least add an A-Z multivitamin (usually cheaper than figuring out vegetables) to your daily diet. From what you list that you eat you might also need fibre, try alternating between white and brown rice or mixing the two together (one third brown rice and two thirds white rice is palatable for most people). It's hard to give you specifics as what might be cheap in one country might be expensive in another country.

yes it is

I survived on whole chickens, ramen/rice, and veggies for a long time, but the key to my diet was the multivitamin I took. Remember to boil your chicken bones in your noodle/rice water to get the most out of them.

You only need x0.8/lbs of lean body mass of protein to gain muscle.

Based. You should do boiled egg but you can and should varies it like fried egg, sunny side up, or whatever egg variation. I'm thinking about getting a chicken that lay eggs a lot.
