Sup kings,
should resting between sets and exercises be kept as short as to function as a circuit training or is this counterproductive and cardio and strength training should be completely split?
Do you keep track of heart rate at all? Do you have set rest times or is it "once you manage your next set"?
Thanks in advance.

recuperate just enough so you can do your next set, do cardio after weights

rule of thumb is about 3 minutes i remember reading somewhere (no i wont fucking provide source) for the muscles to recover for another burst. if you want hypertrophy or strength gains you want as much oomph in your sets, each set, as possible. now this doesnt mean do some shitty set and sit on your phone for 20 mins either dont get me wrong.
