>give in to societal expectations and cut soda, fried food and cookies for a week.
>also go three times to the gym to run 3km.
>by the end of the week I only lost 1,5 kg.
What the fuck, I lived like a slave for a whole week and that's it?
>>

>1,5
What did he meme by this?
>>
>>75728521
One kilo and a half

Does his keyboard not have a period?
>>
>>75728518
Congrats, you lost about 0.5 kilos too much in a week to reliably prevent loose skin. Try losing a little slower and keep it up, stay away from the skin surgeons.

He's what we call a thirdie
>>
You didn't get fat in a single week either, why would you expect losing weight to be any quicker?
>>
>>75728518
And this is why you will stay fat and sad. You think it has to be hard because you don't understand how your body works.

I weight 95 kilos now HOWEVER I'm 1,82 m tall. No way I'm fat enough for loose skin.
>>75728648
Because the effort I made was paramount.
>>
>>75728739
>95kg
>182cm
You're literally obese.
>>
>>75728739
yeah, burning energy is harder than stuffing your face. Who would have thought it, huh?
Anyway, unless you were gaining 1.5kg a week, then you're already losing way faster than you were gaining, so stop complaining.

It takes continuous work (we're talking months to years) to lose weight en masse. Your body, which evolved to hold onto precious energy (fat stores), won't just shed it off in a week. It will always prioritize holding on to fat as a safety mechanism. So it takes a lot of time and dedication to shed excessive weight. But the good news is that continuing to exercise makes it easier and shows real results with time - this is part psychological and part physiological. Conversely, gaining muscle mass is the opposite; muscles are huge energy sinks to the body, and your body will readily atrophy gains if it can. That is unless you take the time and make the effort to upkeep your gains (continual resistance training). In both cases, time and dedication are the same deciding factor of success. And if you have enough time to post chinese cartoon girls on a korean political science forum, you have the time to dedicate towards working out. Also, WAGMI and fuck crabs.

>lived like a slave
The Romans would feed their slaves grains 3 times a day to pacify them. Modern humans are slaves to processed foods and carbs. You gave yourself a taste of freedom and now adamantly reject it.
>>
>>75728640
man theyre fuckin weird
>>
it was all water weight
>>
>>75728987
Why would you want your laborers pacified?

>live your whole life like a gluttonous pig
>expect to undo the damage in a mere week
Are you, perchance, retarded?
>>
>>75729139
>what is a slave revolt
Besides, meat was neither cheap nor widely available in ancient times. Barley and porridge was all a slave would eat.
>>
>>75729270
Sure and the legionaries ate mostly grain too. Do you think they were pacified?
>>
>>75729297
State mandated military service, discipline and the reward of a career or land did wonders for morale compared to the threat of punishment by death (not exclusive to slavery)
>>
>>75729332
So you admit that eating grain had nothing to do with pacification?
>>
>>75729335
Oh, I excuse me, I did not realise I was taking with a diet autist. Farewell.
>>
>>75728518
Losing 3lbs a week is really good, and an insane pace if you can pull that off consistently. Too bad that since it's your first week, a lot of that was probably just water weight.
>>
>>75728518
>cut soda, fried food and cookies
>"living like a slave"
lol, lmao even. What a bizarre and coddled way to view the world.
>>
>>75728518
hat is good progress anon congratz
>>
>>75728518
yeh, have to live like that forever. that is why it is referred to as a 'lifestyle'. the good feeling and buzz you get from doing it fades quickly as you build a tolerance to it as well. you need to do more, do it faster and do it stronger and longer to feel the same effect, effectively like a common junky.
>>
>>75729139
So they don't get uppity and kill you
>>
>>75728518
How disgustingly fat are you that you can loose 3lbs in a week?
>>
>>75728518
OP took one step towards freedom and is already missing the chains. Any reasonably fit person could run 10km in an hour and they took a whole week to run 9.
>>
nice, i have use for this thread

cut out all carbo-hydrates for 10 days now
changes are pretty immediate, skin clearing up, beginning gut receding, more energy
but i have some questions:
- fruits and juices jay/nay?
- does anyone have tips on what to replace sides with (chickpeas, grain free pasta, etc.)
- meal times, mostly ate my first meal in the afternoon before but that doesn't really seem to work with this diet
>>
>>75728518
yea fatso, thats the way it works. 1,5 first week. Bye bye water weight.

Next week it might be 0,8 kgs, more water weight etc.

Keep it up fatso. After 6 months maybe you'll look human again. Thats the thing fatty, you gotta want to stay in shape, and you gotta want to eat better.

If you do cardio 30 minutes a day (start with way less first to not give yourself a stroke) will drive fat loss even faster. And maybe eat a meal less a day.
>>
>>75728521
He was wrong, simple as.
>>75728655
We understand commas. We use them correctly, see here. You meant to use a period.
