It's still warmer than ice but won't cook the meat. Also the meat could be bad if it was frozen for too long.

I still wonder if my ass taste is directly related to that. i have a hard time thinking it's bacteria, but if the chicken starts to cook partially then maybe that's an issue. then again I only defrost it for 30 minutes, then it's straight into the airfryergoing to try the cold water method or just airfry it in frozen formi buy big pack frozen chicken because i don't use up the 6 breasts you get when buying them fresh
