I've recently started to lift and I can't stop thinking about my age and how late I'm doing this. I constantly hear about how other people started lifting when they were like 16, and I think about how much I've fucked up in life by starting so late. Can you tell me how fucked I am by starting so late? I'm 23, and have never set foot in a gym until like 3 months ago
>>75731398don't worry about it, there's always someone worse than you
>>75731398Very fucked. Your body couldnt have accustomed to muscle building during puberty. Might aswell look into implants
it's over, you are way too late, ngmi without heavy use of steroids
Worry about the things you can change. There's plenty of that.
>>75731398>23It's over, oldtimer.
>>75731398You should worry less about your age and more about your genetics. It may be over for you before you even stepped on the starting line.
Fuck you man im turning 30 this year
By allowing yourself to feel worried and acknowledge it. Then tell yourself it's natural and happens to everyone and there's nothing you can do to stop it.Tl;Dr: stop being weak.
>>75731398This >>75731503Also pic related.
>>75731398overcoming the defeatism and doubts is strengthening. all they did was get a head start, their superior results at a younger age is a facade. they've simply put more years in than you.
>>7573139823 is literally the still in your physical prime. You probably got a 10-12 good years.

>>75731398>how do I stop obsessing over my age?>I'm 23Lmao, why are Americans like this?
>>75731600zoomers believe that life ends in your 20's, I have no idea why but they are deathly afraid of growing up
>>75731603my life ended in 10's
>>75731398You eventually stale and regress until you progress again. Nobody who lifts natty (or even enhanced most of the time) is always stronger in their 10th year than they are in there 5th of lifting. Meaning at age 28, you will be basically as strong as almost everyone who lifts seriously since they were a teenager.t. 31 years old, lift since age 22, regressed up to 20 kg in some lifts because I didn't touched anything heavier due to recovery, meaning my cns has to adapt again, the muscle mass is exactly the same before the regression tho.
There are countless examples of literal obese pigs getting fit when starting mid 30s.Also, 30 is the new 20 because of the requirement for higher education, arrested development, and lower real wages + more expensive goods.
>>75731398Stealth age demoralization threadUnless you have trash genetics, you should be in your physical prime in your late 20's to early 30'sThis is proven by every competitive sport on earth where a prime is considered anywhere from 28-32Cope more
>>75731398Learn to cope better.I don't know why milennials and zoomers have such a hard time with this, but unironically learn to cope.Because I guarantee you, you will die.You will age.Things will stop working as efficiently as they once did. This is the only experience you will share with 100% of humanity.
>>75731603>zoomers believe that life ends in your 20's, I have no idea why but they are deathly afraid of growing upAnime and manga. Middle Age starts after high school, maybe during college, tops, for the Japs. Has to do with their school/job system.
Jesus christ, might as well stop lifting. its already too late.
>>75731398I know this is just recycled bait but man of all the things you should feel bad about doing later in life exercise is not one of them.Investing? Moving up in the world? Not following your dreams? sure these are the things that actually matter to start early. These are the things that take up your whole life. But exercise? It doesn't fucking matter. You can get fit any time and it doesn't take a long time. You can become unfit any time too. Starting really young doesn't matter at all unless you were trying to become an elite athlete. Everybody is going to age and become weak one day. When you're old you're not gonna think "oh man I wish I had exercised when I was 16" as if that matters now. But you are definitely gonna wish you did a lot of other stuff.
