How many sets per muscle per week should you do? Is 10-15 really optimal?
>>75732999Doesn't matter bro that's all hogwashWhat I like to do, I call it the Blue Trophy Approach or Strategy, do you have FitNotes? Download FitNotes and you'll see that every time you set a PR, or a PR for reps you get a blue trophy. So every session, as long as you're getting a blue trophy you're doing good, so you're always making progress. You don't always set a PR by weight, but you can set a PR for reps at SOME weight in every session. Just keep progressing, the game is progression bro and then you'll eventually find what works for you you don't need to think about stuff like optimal sets or whatever
>>75732999Most people need less. Volume recommendations have been exaggerated. 4 to 10 is correct.
>>75733051>zoomer needs an application where he collects pixels to track progressclassic
>>75733456It's really helpful and I'm a boomer, it's also helpful in describing and illustrating the concept of progression, but also, boomers grew up with video games so it's in line with that achievement chasing thinking and it's nice to see a blue trophy after you're done with your session gives you a boost
