Okay, so does anyone actually know what this stuff is, where it comes from, or what effects it has on the body? It seems like they're putting this in all kinds of tea and food products everywhere I look. Even some of the stuff I used to buy that was sweetened with stevia now has switched to monk fruit. Do we actually have any research on this? Has anyone tried it?
>>75733915it's a harmless sweetener that doesn't affect blood sugar levels and doesn't cause diarrhea
>>75733915It's like that coffee that's just berries fed to Asian raccoon cats so they poop the beans out ready to roast, but with monks.
>>75733947Nothing you just said makes any sense in any context.
>>75733916That's what they said about aspartame and sucralose
>>75733963And they were right.
>>75733970Ignorance is bliss I guess
>>75733915it is seaweed

>>75733915Sugarless sweeteners increase a stick protein called SGLT2 in your kidney that prevent you from pissing out sugar. That's why it raises blood sugar just as much as sugar. They contribute to kidney disease.
