Why are protein bars and other protein "snacks" always so fucking dry? I bought these quest peanut butter cup things to snack on while I'm out and they are literally dry as a fucking bone. It's like I'm eating chocolate covered sand. Also why are they always advertised as "low sugar" or "low calorie"? They taste like shit and give me no energy. My muscles need sugar for maximum output, so I go to the store to get an energy drink or something, and guess what I see? 90% of the brands on the shelf are ZERO SUGAR!I just know for a FACT that it's the fat people that are to blame for this. Fat people and fat women. I don't have any evidence but I just know it was them.
>>75735571Just chug a muscle milk.
>>75735571>Why are protein bars and other protein "snacks" always so fucking dry?Usually high protein, low fat. Whey protein dries your mouth out.>Also why are they always advertised as "low sugar" or "low calorie"?They use sugar alcohols that the body cannot absorb. They're not for energy, they're for protein. For energy, eat a granola bar or some nuts.>I just know for a FACT that it's the fat people that are to blame for thisProbably. Food has to taste good or Americans won't buy it. Americans are so used to sugar that the absence of it tastes bitter.
>>75735571I stay away from most chocolate flavored protein bars and shakes. The bars seem drier and the shakes seem "heavier", something is off about them. Out of the ones in that pic, I only get the white chocolate raspberry, birthday cake, and cookies & cream ones
>>75735571Try the anabar its made with sugar
>>75735571Just drink milk dumbass. All of these supplements are garbage that shrink your nuts.
>>75735571Gave my 3 year old a bite of one of these and he hoovered the whole thing down. 20g of protein in less than five mins and it didn't upset his stomach. Maybe I'm on to something.
>>75736131>Just mainline liquid sugar, bro. That's the same as a protein bar.
>>75735571There is no free fucking lunch in fitness.Deal with it you fucking zoomer.
>>75735571It's the same as anything that just has a load of protein powder in itProtein powder is dry and doesn't taste greatYou can't escape that fact if you want convenient protein supplementation
>>75735571protein products that aren’t protein powder are all memes. just eat a tin of deenz if you want a high protein snack
>>75735571>buy a protienbar with a doughnut on it>the bar is just some rectangle, not a doughnutFALSE ADVERTISING

>>75735658I get that feeling with the Chocolate Brownie but not the Double Chocolate Chunk.
