These guys would beat you up

Pure jiujitsu isn't what it used to be. They train mostly from the ground with absolutely abysmal takedown work. Takedowns for the vast majority of jiujitsu practitioners means either walking forward with hands out and face uncovered hoping to establish grips and pull guard, or hugging their head and charging in hoping to force a clinch and drag you down. They'd get lit the fuck up against any half competent casual striker.

>I spent years "accidentally" grabbing guys dicks, being put in submissive positions and rubbing up against guys
>Just so i could put a drunk in a armbar one time and not even follow through with breaking it

This is literally what judo nerds do.

No, i do judo.
>>

I could easily beat both if them in one shot each and most likely lift them up or punch them in the head hard enough before we started wrestling.

thats gay

first day at the "jiu jitsu" class I dominated every little flexible worm person I saw in that joint.
because I'm big and bench 265.
most of them actually assumed these submissive lie down positions in the first few seconds. and they were honesty confused why I wasn't raping them already.
they were waving their hands at me and saying come on mount me.
good thing it was free otherwise I would have taken those guys lunch money

honestly most people go very very light on trial class people since if they don't feel welcome they're not joining afterwards. Also there's no real resistance in a guy who has no idea what he's doing so it's not really fun smashing newcomers. Don't get me wrong if someone has a "oh this is just bullshit" attitude I'll show them it's not
>>
>>75736062
Well, yeah. Nobody wants to roll hard with a new guy that might spazz out and injure them or get injured, so they just chill, concede bottom position, and try to play with some lower percentage techniques.
>>
>>75735962
the problem is that it's the sport's meta.
That's why i believe that anyone doing jjb gi/nogi should have at least 6months of MMA training, just to work on the striking aspect

worst case scenario you're shit on striking but at least you know a thing or two that will put you ahead of 99% of people if combined with a somewhat decent blue belt level of jjb

yeah bro only 120lbs betas do bjj amirite

when will this literal meme end, holy shit you americans are so pathetic

As a 165 lbs 3 stripe white belt with a bench not quite as high as yours, nice LARP faggot. You'd never advance position in me.

I've done BJJ for a decade and judo for a year. I promise you it's not that cut and dry. Yeah, my takedowns are dogshit and getting better. But judo has some weird rules.

I may have lmao-tier wrestling, but I don't have 0. I can still go for the legs for plan B. I can catch wristlocks and leglocks. I have a lot to do with front headlock and I doubt you'll find much sophistication of chokes. The shime waza and kansetsu waza are so much less robust than what I learned in BJJ.

By virtue of my brown belt in BJJ and a couple months of judo I started to get the better of my peers in sparring even if they had a judo brown belt (a BJJ blue belt equivalent). Though it almost always amounted to shifting them around to get a reaction -> finding a fool's opening -> not going for it -> doing something unrefined to off balance them. They'll eventually wise up and stop giving me free wins when they realize I'm not brain dead.

In my interpretation is just depends because they have their pros and cons. If you do want to maximize the yield from your strength and power, I would conjecture that you want wrestling in your game. That's more BJJ than it is judo. If you like being creative, I also think that's BJJ. I feel like I've seen judo be so split-second+no hesitation and your counter -> countercounter -> countercountercounter will happen once in a blue moon. In BJJ you can go more slowly and do something unique when you have then pinned and then go on to something else. Nogi is also considerably cooler than always wearing a gi. However, if you want more stand up it's obviously judo. If culture is what you're into it's judo. If you want to think about leverage, timing, and body awareness it's also judo.

Personally, when I get my black belt I'm going to stick to only judo. It's not cut and dry though.

Not in a street fight they wouldn't.
If you try to lock me there I'm just going to gouge your eyes or crush your balls.
