Hello /fit/! I aspire to make interesting meals or something along the lines of edible at bare minimum in order to satiate and satisfy certain criteria for all sorts of athletic varities with homemade recipes. I'd like to even post about certain brands of prepackaged material that may be beneficial to a healthier life in both body and or wallet.

I made a simulated beef today by mistake because I was craving some, and had none. I guess they say a hungry individual will get something done for a meal, and boy did i deliver for myself. I hope this works for you too.

Why not just eat actual ground beef at that point? 80/20 isn't expensive.

I'm just going to put this out there as a person with experience in the field. You probably have a needing disorder. Your measurements are extremely small and you're doing weird, eccentric things like trying to imitate beef and using phrases like water retaining and stimulate appetite. This is what anorexic people commonly do because it gives them a sense of control over the food that they eat and over their lives in extension.

Again, I could be totally off base, but these are very common signs.

Times can be a little tough so I don't get to eat beef as often as I'd like. I've also heard occasionally about gastro issues, digestive issues and hydration issues with always eating meat. I feel this can apply to a variety of diets or mealplans. I have recipes for protein breads or certain salads for a gut health boost. Even at points in my life where I can eat beef often, it can get boring without a pallet cleanse/ break. Nothing wrong with spicing things.

This doesn't apply to any diet or meal plan. Nobody's going to make simulated ground beef.

I don't think I currently have an eating disorder, but I will note I did lose 140 pounds in sub 6 months last year. I'm now back up to 200. I think theres a lot to more to it than an ED when trying to simulate a food. I have no beef with eating beef, I have it regularly every weekend. But it is funny you say Anorexic. I try to overeat and no matter what I do i feel hungry. I'm trying a different approach is all.

Like I said, I could be totally off base, but the language you're using in this post and the language you've previously used in your other posts indicates to me as a professional with experience otherwise.

Might have a slight eating disorder but I tend to enjoy eating good or even more than just good, excessively.

Your post is about trying to imitate ground beef using oatmeal and salt. That's nowhere near good food.

Oh no Oatmeal and salt, the devil!!!

Get a load of this guy

>athletic varities
So you want good food for people who want to be strong and fit? Real ground beef is pretty good, if you get it in bulk it can be a lot cheaper.
>I'd like to even post about certain brands of prepackaged material that may be beneficial to a healthier life in both body and or wallet.
Raw milk.

If anything that's from bread and processed food. Gluten and other lectins trigger gut dysbiosis and permeability, even if you don't have special sensitivity (e.g. celiac). Foods of this nature that are harmful and inflammatory to the gut are known as FODMAPS. Issues from eating meat are most likely from processed or overcooked meats, or a shitty (relatively, still better than vegetarian and SAD) carnivore diet without eggs and organ meats. Hydration issues are complete bullshit, just eat fruit or raw meat. Or get electrolytes from a decent source.

Bread is one of the worst things you could possibly eat if you want to boost your gut health.

Well that's fair. What kind of foods and tastes do you like? Soup is very versatile, Bone broth is best but even vegetarian soups can be very healthy and tasty. It will be harder to bulk on them though, unless you're eating chankonabe.

You were 300lbs+, and you regained 50lbs+?
I've gained 30-40lbs on purpose over the past 3 years. I eat anything I want to satiety, and right now that includes slop too.

Your appetite/food habits are fucked to enable that king of swing in body weight, or more likely your BMR is terrible.

Terrible attempt at pretending to miss the point.
