I just did my first full-day fast, about 40 hours. Holy shit that first meal after fasting tastes so insanely good. It was just a tiny chicken and cabbage salad with no dressing, about 1 cup of onion soup, and a small bottle of protein milk. About 400 kcal all together. But it was like the best thing I've ever tasted and I'm still uncomfortably full.It wasn't even as hard as I was afraid it was going to be. Saturday was pretty rough but I woke up this morning feeling like I could have gone longer if I wanted to. I've been doing IF since April I think, and it wasn't that long ago I would've been shaking by mid-afternoon if I skipped a single meal. I'm seriously considering doing this once a week from now on.

I was 220 March 2024, dropped to 180 by December 2024. Was doing 10k steps a day, 1400 calories a day, and started stronglifts 5x5Now it's Aug 2025 and I'm 220 again, but just with more muscle.Feels weird to stick to 1600-1800 calories. I just wanna be sub 200 before the end of the year.5'6, 220, This is my motivation I guess.Gonna be running GZCL

That is quite pitiful. Someone being afraid of stairs is quite pitiful. I've been on the fence about doing a 9 mile run with a fitness group for parents wondering if I can actually do it and if I can actually keep up while pushing the stroller, but you've just reminded me that those are my old fat people fears and I am not that infirm, uncapable person anymore.
