Sup niggas, I am looking for a new protein but a lot of these places hide their heavy metals tests or don't put dates on them. Looking at Transparent Labs at another anon's recommendation but I don't want sunflower lecithin if I can avoid it... Is there any protein out there that has recent, dated test results + no bullshit in there??? Just straight up protein?

Pic not fucking related

Just drink milk dumbass. Even if you do end up getting real whey and not drywall dust, whey is just years old expired milk that makes you fart and shit your guts out. Your body rejects it because it's rotten. There's no such thing as a "protein fart" you're just consuming spoiled ingredients. Each gulp of milk is 3-4g of protein. You reject God's gift to mammals and instead gorge on the scams of men.
>>
>>76562012

I drink raw milk already bro. I have very high cholesterol, so I was looking for another way to increase my protein without taking in a ton of saturated fats... Also, some protein companies actually claim to test for acids, bleach etc... but again, those tests are NOT dated. Transparent Labs sadly does not test for acid either, which is precisely why I haven't just gone and bought their shit yet. If they are using lecithin they are probably bleaching their shit, and I'd rather not bleach my asshole.

ON was busted years ago and they shud be clean now. as for protein without onions or sunflower lecithin, it's less than 1% of the total usually. think of it as the trace amount of heavy metal in ur protein since all protein powders are processed and contain some heavy metal. go for isopure if ur ok with a trace amount of onions lecithin.

i got some protein if you know what i mean

Get Naked Whey. It’s literally just whey, organic coconut sugar, and natural flavor (for example, the strawberry naked whey has crushed strawberries). It smells and tastes very natural because it is. I switched to it from ON recently and will never turn back.
>>
>>76561919
Just get the cheapest whey you can find. There are no heavy metals in whey. That's just a psyop
>>
>>76562031
Holy shit are you retarded? You know how there's different types of milk at the store? MAYBE GET THE LOW FAT OR FAT FREE MILK.

>raw milk
Oh so definitely retarded.

>>76562447
I drink a half gallon of whole milk a day but am forced to intermittently fast due to a shitty work schedule, I'm incredibly lean and still losing fat while gaining muscle. The fat won't fuck you up if you use it as energy.
>>
>>76562012
A cup of milk only has like 8 grams of protein.
>>
>>76561919
but an ad
>>
>>76565110
>I drink a half gallon of whole milk a day
I was buying 4 gallons of whole milk a week and my LDL cholesterol was really high. It’s like 250 g of saturated fat a week.
>>
>>76561919
I will second the Naked Whey… great stuff and very clean
>>
>>76565030
>>76566186
it's good but the price is pretty retarded. You can just get unflavored whey and add cocoa powder + table sugar for a similar flavor that's like 35% cheaper
>>
>>76566336
>I want clean protein
>add heavy metals and refined sugar
>>
>>76561919
Truvana and Kachavi are both good, plant protein with no whey (shitting your ass out.) Pretty pricey though

Just eat normal food if youre that worried.
Like on eof them queers with a SEVERE peanut allergy risking their life to eat at McDonalds or some shit. Picrel you can see the prices per ounce. They change so do look each time.

>Naked Whey.
>>76566186
>5 lb wpc for $99? even tho it's grass fed, it's imported from new-fucking-zealand. ON also make natural whey and i thought that was rip off, but this naked is even worse. I'd rather get NOW's unflavored whey isolate and mix that with pb2 or one of those low fat peanut butter powders over this naked.

>Just drink milk dumbass. Even if you do end up getting real whey and not drywall dust, whey is just years old expired milk that makes you fart and shit your guts out.

This entire issue can be solved by buying pre-prepared protein shakes/milk from grocery stores, preferable from diary companies that already produce milk, cheese, yoghurts etc. These products have a limited expiration date similar to regular milk and theyt get fresh leftover whey from their own cheese production that hasn't been dried out into powder.

naked literally does the same thing. if you're that schizo then protein powder of any kind doesnt work
>>
>>76567876
Can you show me where I claimed that naked was clean protein?
>>
>>76565293
that's why we drink a gallon lol.
to speak to OP, I know they get ridiculed around here but you might look into veggie protein blends as well. They're blends to make sure you're getting a complete protein profile. /fit/ likes to fearmonger about the bioavailability of plant protein, but in my research a quality blend of veggie protein powder is something like 90% bioavailable, so your 45g of protein in a 2-scoop shake becomes the same as 40g of whey. it's no big deal.
Whey always gave me face cysts (all brands, even isolate), but the plant stuff has been great. Weirdly enough I can drink milk with no problem. Probably the difference between 250ml a day of milk vs 3 scoops a day of pure whey.

They have an unflavored version, this is the chocolate version which obviously has chocolate and sugar you fucking retard.

Kill yourself. It’s actually delicious anyways and not overly sweet, like 5g sugar or something

i'm in texas and ON GOLD STANDARD has always had the best price point for the stuff. every now and then i've tried other brands when i've seen them on sale, but i'm probably at a point where i've used ON for so long everything else is just going to taste off to me no matter what because nothing has won me over based on taste

thank you anon. I wish more people cared about others' feelings

Hello bros, OP here. A lot of people have been recommending Naked. I was very interested in the unflavored version, but I have a problem with something... They do not publish their test results. They simply insist that everything checks out. Also, if you go to the FAQs, their attempt to cover for this is a complete joke.

Q: Who / what company third party tests your products?
>We use a third-party lab located in the United States to test our products.
Q: Do you test for PCBs?
>We do not test for PCBs at this time.
Q: Can I have the official lab testing report?
>We do not send the official lab reports to customers, as we are prohibited from doing so by the lab.

Norcal Organic is maybe even worse. They publish a popup with the ""lab results"" on it, but it's not actually a lab report. It's a write-up, intended to look like a lab report. Nothing is dated, the name of the lab is not listed... Maybe this wouldn't be so bad, except that they are also claiming the world's most favorable heavy testing numbers by a large margin, and they will not respond if you email them.

Meanwhile, Transparent Labs actually does test for heavy metals, and publishes the tests, but they DO NOT test for bleach, PCBs, etc... and they also put sunflower leshitithin in their protein. So I'm really at a loss as to what to do here. I am half tempted to pick one of these three items and just hope for the best, but I'd really rather go with something that actually meets my criteria of being both organic and provably tested.
>>
>>76572187
You're not going to find a brand that satisfies you in this regard. Pick a brand that you like and go with it. You're being overly ridiculous with your expectations. I'm not saying that your expectations aren't realistic. I'm just saying that companies don't do this kind of thing
>>
>>76572295

To be honest, you're probably right. I'll call Naked tomorrow and see what kind of information I can get from them, but I think I'll probably just go with them either way at this point. I need mass now and I don't need to take their shit forever.
>>
The sad reality is that EVERYTHING is full of metals, plastics and whatever else. It's better to just not worry about it
>>
>>76572762
If you get a chance, report back and let us know what you learned or what they disclosed to you.
>>
>>76561919
Practically impossible to get real protein these days, see this post >>76574395

There's a reason we say just eat food. Shit even the food is fake in late stage globalism, you definitely can't trust a mystery powder.
>>
>>76574419
>Just believe me. My source is a post on 4chan with absolutely zero sources backing it up.
>>
But in first world countries like the Nordic countries you can trust that you actually get real protein powder!
>>
OP here. It looks like I can finally contribute some OC to this board after years of browsing. I woke up to a very unexpected email from NorCal Organic today, with the heavy metals test results attached. They had previously ignored my first attempt at reaching out, and then sent me an email containing a non-response when I emailed them again, so I wasn't expecting to get anything back from them. I am hoping somebody can help me interpret these numbers, but it looks like they do match up with what they are claiming on their main site?? The arsenic does look a bit high though (I am assuming that this was all conducted on a per-serving basis, although that might not be correct.)

>>76573936

I fully intend to. If I'm going to spend my time annoying all of these companies, then I'll at least be sure to put the results here for you guys to review. Speaking of Naked, I tried them today, but of course they are closed for Labor Day. Left a message with their call room staffer for them to call me back.

PPM means particles per million. So out of a million particles, that's how many will be one particle of said material.
>>
>>76576379

I know that, but what I'm having a tough time figuring out from this is the serving size that was tested or whether that amount is even meaningful.
>>
>>76576429
The serving size is irrelevant. If it was per serving size or per tub or per two tons, it would still be the same amount of those contaminants in a serving size scoop.
