Morning was really short, but did bench 365 which was fine. I wanted 385, but did not have time, only had about 10 minutes to bench. Will hit 385 next week and move up to 2 sessions + 1 db bench until the end of the year. Afternoon was not bad, tried some ring shoulder stands which did not really go well, but should not be too hard to learn, should have them by Feb or so if I keep practicing them. Wall supported hspus are getting there, was doing sets of two. V-sit is going to take awhile, I think I am about 18-24 months out. I need to condition my elbows and my core is still way too weak. Not training today or tomorrow, unfortunately. I think thats about it.

it's a shame that zoomers don't know about george leeman and his legendary 907x4 set that broke the strength internet at the time. he yanked the fucking 907 off the floor pre pull as he did with all of his big sets on video. he fully believed in straps, touch n go, high reps, rdl's, and loads of back accessories. with his build and determination and had he not quit, i don't see why he wouldn't be pulling 1050 for reps in a singlet, belt, and straps. thor wouldn't even be in the scene as george would be probably at 1170 or so in a suit. probably 1200+ had he stuck with it. he had really tiny ankles and just a massive back, he relied on loads and loads of back in his pulls. he had the back width though and everything, so he could just keep getting bigger in the back over and over. his height also worked in his favor as he really loaded at the bottom pre pull like a rubber band and launched from there up through his calves and straight into his back which did all of the yanking up through to the top. his legs were always shaky, but it's because his style was 'back will begin and finish the lift.' i miss both him and pete, if i had to pick one of them to continue pulling way past their limit? oof, don't make me pick, i'd have to think about it for probably a month or more. funny to think that both pete and george were on the misc. forums back in the day together along with myself who would see their posts
