All you need for home gym is
>place to do pull ups
>place to do dips
>single dumbbell to do lateral raises, curls, tricep extensions, shoulder press
>backpack to do weighted exercises
With this you can train all muscles and avoid destroying your back with powersharting.
>>
i plan on buying one of these once i can actually use it. i'm still too fat to use it
>>
>>76628432
When I started training after very long break (years) I could only do 2 pull ups and 2 dips. And I am not fat. So fat people can't do a single rep.
But I have heard you can do negatives first. You could also do push ups first do built pec strength, then dips. For pull ups, you can do inverted rows first.
>>
>>76628429
or
>have a place where you can hang rings from (ceiling, garage metal beams, pullup bar in the park)
>can try entire upperbody and all main movement patterns (horizontal/vertical push/pull) with added intensity to stabilize the rings
>>
>>76628429
How do you train legs?
>single dumbbell to do lateral raises, curls, tricep extensions, shoulder press
How do you progressive overload?
>>
Notice how "all you need posters" never post body with timestamp?
Funny that
>>
>>76628429
I'm not buying a stand like that made by a company that couldn't even afford to have that 6/10 girl come pose with it and had to resort to photoshopping her in.
>>
>>76628429
During covid, I built a pull-up bar into a narrow hallway in my old apartment. That, a barbell with 130 lbs max, a 35 lb dumbbell and a 65 lb dumbbell, and some elastic bands was enough to actually maintain some decent gainz.

Compared to the equipment I was using in the gym before, I didn't have much and got by just fine.
>>
>>76628522
Yes, rings can also work and they are cheap.

>>76628528
>How do you train legs?
Weighted pistol squats and single leg deadlifts.
>How do you progressive overload?
With adjustable dumbbell. You increase reps and when it's too many, like 10, then you select higher weight on the dumbbell.
>>

Funny that.

I have those things
sadly I feel pretty stuck in all the lifts... especially pullups, feels like 0 progression

Maybe they do not take steroids, unlike you.

Eat more. Training doesn't work without calorie surplus.
>>
>>76628429
>backpack to do weighted exercises
This should have been a temporary thing as you save money for a belt and some plates/weights. I did this during the lockdown because it was the only thing I could do. But there is no way you are going to even get close to holding more than 100lbs in a backpack
>>
>>76628429
>avoid destroying your back with powersharting
Why do you people even come here? Where did all these backlets come from all of a sudden?
>>
>>76628429
A decent power rack is all you need, you can squat, you can bench, you can do pullups in it.
>>
>>76628783
>But there is no way you are going to even get close to holding more than 100lbs in a backpack
Yes, if you need a lot of weight backpack will not work. But first use backpack and train consistently for months. Then if you still like training and have motivation you can invest into something better.

>>76628829
>you can squat, you can bench
You can't, you'd need a barbell and a lot of weights.

You’re not necessarily wrong but I prefer to use gym equipment. If I ever don’t live more than 10 minutes away from my nearest gym I would consider this an option.
>>
>>76628947
Yes, gym has advantages. You can also talk with people and watch female asses or something.
>If I ever don’t live more than 10 minutes away from my nearest gym I would consider this an option.
I have much longer commute to nearest gym so I took the home gym pill.
>>
>>76628896
>Then if you still like training and have motivation you can invest into something better
Then you can't say its all you need. You obviously need more if you are serious about any sort of training
>>
>>76628990
You will need more but only if you trained well for a year. And it won't be expensive, just dip belt. Weights you already have from the dumbbell.
>>
>>76628429
Is this porn?
>>
>>76629034
No.
>>
>>76628472
I bought one of these. couldnt do a single pullup and not a single dip. When I tried to do dips it was negatives only and it hurt my sternum because my muscles werent strong enough to hold me up, a lot of pressure was going onto my cartilage and bones as a result

After like 2 month I could do 8 reps of dips. I can also do 4 strict pullups close grip. Im now working towards wide grip strengthening my back as well as doing chinups to strengthen my biceps.

Overall I think this is the number 1 piece of equipment for noobs who want to start working out before transitioning to the gym for a more complete workout. I am a lot stronger than I used to be and all I do is 30 minutes of this pullup tower 2-3 times a week
>>
>>76629133
The alternative to this pullup tower is: pull up bar + gym rings installed on this pull up bar. Both are good options.
>>
>>76628429
This is great advice for everyone who wants to stay a dyel forever. Thanks OP

Better than having beer belly from powersharting + GOMAD.

I don't want a home gym. The gym is cheap, has everything I need with no compromises, and I enjoy going there.
>>
>>76629203
you could also have a beer belly with calisthenics. I dont understand why people think a dyel routine is somehow going to be better for weight loss. also calisthenics is for small people anyway
>>
>>76629375
>you could also have a beer belly with calisthenics. I dont understand why people think a dyel routine is somehow going to be better for weight loss.
You don't understand powersharting. When you are powersharter, you eat 6000 calories per day so your belly is huge, which lower the ROM (Range of motion) of bench press, allowing you to bench more without growing bigger muscles.
>also calisthenics is for small people anyway
Why? This is false.
