Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.

Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per pound of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and lose fat much quicker. Not lifting results in the body eating away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

i read many accounts of people's loose skin improving greatly over time and i've had personal experience with it as well. the problem is that it takes a long time- a year or more before it starts to shrink down. your skin is an organ and it's very elastic. you body may very well reabsorb much of the 'extra' skin given a long enough timeline.

surgery is for impatient people. have you considered that there may be health consequences to removing a bunch of skin? your body is capable of miraculous feats. give it a chance to heal naturally before you go under the knife. if you still feel like you are fat then maybe you are fat. in my experience 'loose skin' sure seems to have a lot of fat clinging to it.

Update to my bolognese post last thread.

I woke up at 4:30 AM with a piercing pain in my stomach approx 3 cm above my belly button. I ran to the bathroom just in time for the vomit to fly out of my mouth and into the bathtub. Retched up the entirety of the pasta and pasta sauce (except the meat portion of the sauce, that was nowhere to be found) as well as all of the konjac noodles that I had partaken of. The pain actually got worse after vomiting and I spent 5 hours in the bathroom alternating between shitting, vomiting, and crying until I was left with nothing.

My best guest is that the large amount of insoluble fiber from the konjac in the oden has destroyed my intestines and caused a temporary blockage which prevented the calorie heavy pasta from being digested. Feeling much better now as long as I don't move my upper body and had to take the day off work.

This morning I am officially below 200 lbs. Thank you /fit/! WAGMI!

I say this every single thread and nobody ever listens to me. There have been legit medical cases of blockages being caused by these things. They're entirely indigestible. And I mean entirely. I'm not talking about like when you eat corn and the starch inside gets digested, but the hulls are left over in your feces. Zero percent of the noodles are digestible. If you don't have a proper digestive system due to years of being obese or in relatively poor health, there's a high risk you're going to hurt yourselves with them. I can't speak for others, but basically once I've put food inside my body for the day I'm hungry (or will be hungry within 30 minutes regardless of meal size) until I wake up the next day, but conversely if I do nothing but drink tea and coffee I will never get hungry. I might be better suited to doing 48 hour fasts with interspersed with 4,000 calories in between than a regular daily calorie restriction.

Dunno, I sure as shit wont have the money for a surgery. I went as far down as 80kg and it didnt look too good. Then I stopped counting calories and started a dirty bulk and got up to 105 in around a year (damn summer vacation and almost a month of drinking every day), now im back down to 94kg (me >>76660108). I have been fasting from monday to thursday and eating till sunday so if fasting helps, it doesnt seem to help that much. Still, it is an opportunity to take charge of your life. Make it intentional. Count your calories, and count your macros. Bad things start to happen when you go too low on proteins and fats (yet somehow eating very little carbs is okay for a while. your metabolism just rewires itself and keeps on trucking.)
Also, your rate of weight loss is crazy fast. Dangerously fast. Unless you're eating a lot of proteins in very few calories, you'll losing muscles and you don't want that, it's a pain in the ass to grow them back.

Seems some much needed changes are in order.
I found out not all proteins are created equal and I'd be better off replacing Skyr and Cottage Cheese with more eggs and chicken breast. So 5 boiled egg for breakfest it is.

I also purchased this glycine powder:

All it made me feel is drained, stiff under the skin (like wrapped in rubber) and that thing had clumps in it instead of being a fine powder. I should throw that shit out shouldn't I?

Finally I'm starting to think having that 1k meal with near 100 protein in it could be better off broken into 2 smaller ones because apprantly my 224 lbs body cant absorb more than 66g per meal.

having more varied protein sources is good.
glycine powder is fine as a supplement, small amounts is fine. it's not real food. throwing it away would be a waste. but stop taking it if you have weird side effects.
the absorbing x amount of protein in a meal is meme, it takes a long time to digest protein. 100g of protein in a meal would take at least 10 hours to digest it all. protein is essential so you're body is good at getting the most protein out of it as it can. cavemen would have had big meals of protein whenever they hunted or trapped animals.
