I've been eating half a chicken a day instead of just breasts (its so much cheaper than buying breasts wtf?) not only have I been losing weight faster than when I was eating chicken breasts exclusively but holy fuck did I forget how good chicken can taste when it has all the skin, fat and bone. >>76670731Nothing so special I'd call a recipe and I change up how I season it every time, I just toss the whole frozen chicken directly into my air fryer basket and cook it for 1~1.5 hours (depends on the size of the chicken) at 350F, I flip it over half way through cooking so both sides get crispy, I measure it to make sure its fully cooked, once fully cooked (when breasts read 160F) I cut it down the spine separating it in halves, then I just season with salt/pepper/spices ect. In my second basket I make veggies that I eat alongside the chicken (Broccoli, Spinach, whole garlic cloves, Whatever, ect) My air fryer as a match cook setting which lets me set this up in advance so it only starts the veggies after the chicken has been cooking awhile so they both finish at the same time. The thing that gets me is how much cheaper it is, I'm spending half of what I used to spend on just eating the breast and now I'm getting the rest of a damn chicken along with it. You spend more just to have them remove the skin/fat/bone/thighs/wings, it feels insane.
