Yeah, i've lost 26kg~ so far and have about 9kg~ left to lose and my weight loss has slowed down quite a lot compared to when I first started.
Basically those guides are just saying to keep your physical activity up to keep your TDEE up to burn more fat, which makes sense.

sigh I hate to admit it but i'm back here again guys. I went from 240 to 140lb. But once I lost my job and became a neet for two years my weight went straight back up to 240lb. Initially it was 80kg, but then It became a little fun again and the pace was good so I lowered it to 75. Now that december is fast approaching, and I tend to eat without limitations for that month and a little into the new year, I've decided to lower it again to 70kg.

Personally doing 16:8 IF helped me, not because IF magically makes you burn fat, its because you only got 8 hours to eat your caloric allowance. im doing 1600 calories a day, i sleep about 10 hours, so really i only need to not eat 3 hours before bed and 3 hours after waking up. it helps alot.

I have had this happen a couple times but it always corrects after a few weeks. The longest its taken is 3 weeks for me. This is demoralizing because 3 weeks is an eternity to not see progress. if you only weigh yourself once a week this is bound to happen. You have to weigh yourself daily at the same time under the same circumstances. You'll see the downward trend over the long term. Same shit happened to me then I started weighing myself daily which showed me a clear downwards trend of my weight. Even though it fucks with your head stepping on the scale every day just to barely see it move, it's more motivating when you can look back over the course of 2 months and see a nice downwards trend that matches your calorie deficit.

I was in the same boat. I'm 6'0 173lbs atm and I was stuck for the longest time around 177-178. Just sat down to reevaluate my diet and decided I could cut another ~3-500 calories out without it really harming me. I've basically reached the point in the gym where I can't make much more progress in a deficit, so I said fuck it and cut down on my protein intake (which was probably too high in the first place at 200g) and that broke the plateau for me. Definitely more hungry on a daily basis now but at least I'm back on track. Trying to lose another 10-15 lbs before my wedding in November. Then hopefully after the wedding I can work on doing a slow bulk to actually gain some decent muscle mass.
