You did not lift the weight
>>
>>76701727
I did move it though
>>
>>76701727
It feels far less satisfying than conventional but I sent myself to Snap City on a fucking Smith machine as a fucking beginner so I kinda need to do these instead.
>>
I do a wide stance like sumo but with my arms outside my knees.
Feels good man
>>
>>76702286
I only keep my legs a bit wider (not full sumo) so I can grab the barbell inside my thighs, as I hate that deadlifts tear off my skin on my shin. (Also I'm not a powerlifter so who cares.)
>>
I haven't seen anyone sumo besides one Asian girl at my gym in the last 5 years desu
>>
>>76702286
Damn that's a throwback. I remember when some guy came out of nowhere doing this and died a billion pounds than disappeared. I tried it for a while and it felt like complete shit
>>
>the weight moved from resting on the ground to suspended in the air
Cope and sneed, discouragement bot. WAGMI whether you like it or not.
>>
>>76701727
I'm getting better at not lifting the weight and I'm enjoying it. I guess I'm training my telekinetic powers?
>>
All the best deadlifters do regular stance. This means it's easier than sumo.
>>

Maybe they just got gud
>>
two things annoy me about sumo:
1. people act like sumo is interchangeable with conventional just because the rules of powerlifting for some inexplicable reason allows sumo. in reality sumo is as different to a conventional deadlift as a behind-the-back deadlift or a trap bar deadlift is. when people only talk about deadlift without any modifiers they mean conventional deadlift, but sumo-lifting powerlifters will try to pass off their sumo deadlifts as simply being a "deadlift".
2. when people do sumo with extremely wide stance and snappy bars with extra space between the plates so they can lift with ridiculously small ROM.
if you do sumo with a reasonable stance like jamal browner, it's still a legit lift and a real feat of strenght, just like trap bar deadlifts, behind-the-back deadlifts, jefferson deadlifts and other variations are. if you refer to a sumo deadlift as simply a deadlift without specifying that it is sumo, as you would with a trap bar or a behind-the-back however you are a FAGGOT

>died a billion pounds
Why did he died
>>
>>76704004
yeah, that's absurdly low ROM, but >>76704579 is also sumo and not absurdly low ROM.
>try to pass off their sumo deadlifts
I don't care about official rules, but I also don't think it matters that much, and also wouldn't if I did trap bar deadlifts. I'm lifting dead weight off the ground, it was ### number, if we need a precise apples-to-apples comparison then we're in a contest I never wanted to join in the first place. This is just casual speech, not deception.

Was she fat... Like a sumo?
>>
>>76701727
How do I get a girlfriend like this?
>>
>>76701727
She didnt lift the weight. Theres no piss in the picture
>>
>>76701727
I want to have sex witg her
>>
>>76702255
Smith machine deads are more dangerous than barbell

>Weight goes up and down
>I did not lift it
>And yet no other force acted up on it
You're saying this like it makes me less talented instead of more
