Right pec is stronger than left but smaller. I just want it to be the same size.

Tossing in an extra set of moderate weight for hypertrophy good enough? If so how long until its the same size.

Physical therapy assistant here, most muscle imbalances actually start off below the waist. Get an X-ray of your hips and make sure they're aligned, if not get a heel lift, and then work on postural alignment to fix your scoliosis or other issues caused by poor posture. Do this in turn with fixing your thoracic kyphosis and your chest will start to even out on its own with exercise.

Bro I appreciate it but I have none of that. This is just due to unconscious use of my right dominant side over my left. Over the years my left has gotten bigger.

I just want to know if an extra dumbbell press set for my right side will suffice in making it catch up to my right side. And if so a general estimate on how long it'll take

No, it's due to long term imbalances that start at the hips. Almost all severe muscle imbalances do, unless you're specifically training for a sport using 1 arm.

honestly, why not try what he's suggesting? it's end of the year, you've probably met your deductible anyway (if you're in america, otherwise it's free anyway)

Posture issue.
Other anon said hips, he is not incorrect.
We don't notice these things as children because our tendons are more fluid, as we get older years/decades of sitting/standing/laying in specific positions slowly cripples us.

All people worth their salt eventually learn you gotta get back in touch with the body.
>but I have none of that
Wrong, all humans have an organ missing on one side of their body that is present on the other side that allows for natural scoliosis flexion toward the right.
In fact right leaning scoliosis is the most common type of scoliosis when the symptoms progress to get to diagnosis levels.
LLD (leg difference) also almost always presents in right leg more than left leg.
You never wondered why humans are right handed and right foot dominant?

I digress, if you think your posture is perfect you don't understand anything. 99% of humans have a slight, but distinct horizontal curve to their spine. It could barely exist, it's for sure not enough to be diagnosed as scoliosis.
It can still influence the mechanics of the body.
Such as your chest insertions, giving your left arm more distance in the exercise and therefore more stimulation even if it's less actively engaged.
You could also just be storing more fat on the left side, you don't get to determine fat storage in the body.
You could also sleep in a position that compresses the right side and expands the left side (giving the left more regular demand for tension repair).

Start with the hips.

it's not stronger if it's smaller
bench is not for pecs, pushing is not pecs function, benching will injure your pecs puling shoulders forward and spine into flexion because necessarily retracted shoulders (otherwise they will blow up) will position skeleton such that origin in sternum can't see insertion in humerus - muscle will snag on ribcage, particularly near sternum, this will leave that part undeveloppped and whole muscle malformed stiff because it's constantly injured, cause it will try to contract with your retardo bench but it can't hold contraction

i figured it out bot, yesterday, pecs are not for pushin, it doesn't even matter whether u are controling scapula or choosing motion that incorporates protraction of shoulder joint - no that won't work either, i mean it will but u will suffer trapping long head biceps tendon anyways
>>76743851
>shoulder long head biceps tendon gets trapped under front delt in all variations of biceps curls (preacher included) cause delt is upholding humerus vertically in isometric hold during biceps curls - tendon in shoulder can't slide freely and u get no biceps and tendinitis if u try your best

which isn't good :D no
so if not pressing what is it? it's another climbing move, they have a que of keeping straight arms whenever possible, and they almost never retract shoulders, they roll torso one straight arm that they are hanging off bot, that's what cloombers do
to emulate such movement grab a rope attached at shoulder height and let your shoulder fly to the front as far as it goes, lean backwards and weigh it down, then roll torso onto that extended arm without ever bending elbow or retracting shoulder

maybe anchor rope overhead ? not too high but overhead, yeah, i didn't try it yet bot, but i will :D

>bench is not for pecs lol, what a clown this hooman is
it's not - u are adducing humerus with lats and performing shoulder flexion - front delt
