if pull ups are this godlike exercise for your upper body, how come all the insanely strong pull up specialists all look dyel as fuck?
>>
because you have body dysmorphia

All I do are pull ups and dips for upper body and I feel like I look pretty good.

lol

Unironically why does nobody ever talk about chin ups? My goal when I started losing weight this year was to be able to do chin ups, and now that I lost enough weight and built enough muscle to do them, all I see people talk about is pull ups

Probably because chinups are the easier variation most people can already do with little to no training. Also pull-ups come before muscle ups
>>
>>76745908
im not talking about roidtrannies
>>
>>76745771
They don't eat. They train and maximize strength at that weight. If that guy was doing those exercises and eating enough to gain weight you see it
>>
>>76745771
They don't do any other exercises, so only their lat grows.

This guy is in his mid 50s
>>
>>76745771
Some guys just have less bodyweight to move and have a good structure for chin ups or pull ups.

Look at Michael Phelps for this.

Don't be a douche. He does look fairly good. It's just kind of a stupid physique because he's heavily developed like half his back muscles and neglected the other half.
>>
>>76745889
People here got it in their heads that because pullups are harder they're better. But they're just harder because they omit the biceps. There's no actual benefit and in fact they're worse since they use less muscle mass.
>>
>>76746720
He's got that gross scrawny neck that nonlifters have that torpedoes the whole thing
>>
>>76747648
Pull ups are more natural, they let you climb buildings when you run away from the cops.

His muscle features are genetic. No routine can change the genetic features of the muscles. Think like "zipper abs" or suboptimal attachment points. His muscles are sculpted but they're not all ideally shaped. That's just genetics.
