Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 1g per lb of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

I need almost 1000 kcal of protein a day according to OP.
I found the best way to trick my body into thinking its eaten: salt water and raw vegetables.

Ill take a bite out of a huge carrot then take a sip of salt water to wash it down. This should help me shave off as many calories as humanly possible and snub any snack cravings.

I used to do OMAD but trying to fit the entire meal into one just wasnt working, so now I eat smaller meals throughout a time period and grab multiple protein sources.

What kind? Ones without sugar are low calorie. So it's worth it if you enjoy your food more.

Oh and also if it's not homemade by (You), I usually do 1 of 3 things:
1. Find the restaurant version of whatever dish it is and log that. Restaurants love to use a lot of butter/oil and salt so that's a pretty safe upper bound on the number of calories
2. Eyeball 2-3 of the biggest most high calorie ingredients used and log those, alongside at least 1 tbsp of cooking oil.
3. Just chuck 500, 1000, or 1500 calories into the calorie tracker depending on the size of the meal and the amount that you're eating. If you're diligent with your calorie tracking you can eyeball most things well enough (I sometimes take a guess and then log it to see if my guess is right, and am usually within 200 cals), but you should never fully trust your fatty brain until you've made it.

I have never once been in "healthy" range of BMI chart.
I do two days of an hour of cardio, one day of an hour of resistance training, and am mostly on my feet for the other days I am working.
I have no idea how to calculate bodyfat %.

Meh. I think this is basically bullshit. Pic related is my progress since I started keto last year. The initial huge loss had no rebound.

Don't skip breakfast though, anon. For me lunch is the smallest meal of the day. Once you are properly in ketosis and have been doing it for a while, you can try fasting for a day here and there. If you're like me you won't even get hungry.

FYI I do keto 2 months on 1 month off. I started doing 10k steps a day from the beginning, then started lifting and taking creatine and protein powder in october last year. Muscle mass and strength is going up as body fat comes down. Even when the weight stays the same for a week or two the change is obvious in the mirror. It's so simple it's amazing.

I'm unable to squat below paralel or even paralel, I basically just go as low as I can (which means my knees make about a 45 degree angle). After squats, I get this weird tension feeling in my lower back which doesn't hurt but doesn't feel pleasant. Is that normal? I keep my back straight but I feel that my form sucks as that's the only part that gets sore. Would doing squats on a smith machine be better than doing it with free weights? Any advice welcome

Are you a sedentary lad? Like never moved before just starting recently? I'd work on stretches and mobility. The issue you mention is probably that your hip flexors are super tight pulling on your lower back forward when you go low. This pulls your spine out of alignment. Although I'd recommend not just specifically stretches for hip flexors because your body is probably all sorts of fucked tight-wise. Also back extensions, high volume, body weight to get a pump in your lower back for recovery.

Depends on a lot of factors, like how much excess weight you have, caffeine intake, the quality of the regular sleep you're getting and genetics in general.
Your body should adjust to some degree, but you can't expect full energy when you're purposefully withholding so much energy from your body. You can always experiment by tweaking those other factors or going for a smaller deficit.
