Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.

Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

getting fat young is a somewhat true meme, but that's not what's being pictured. Genetics is a meme in this instance, you're six feet tall.

this is exactly the mindset I'm honing in on because I've seen it before. Most women have it: they're allergic to weights, hyper allergic to upper body work, eat way too low a deficit, build no muscle, have a shitty basal metabolic rate, feel like shit, then get stuck in a pit where nothing seems to work.

putting on muscle is hard, doubly so for women, and it gets harder and harder the more you put on. If by some chance you manage to time travel a year into the future and wake up with a body that's too muscular, you can just do nothing it all disappears. Or eat too little again and you body will cannibalize it.

Workout your whole body, eat a reasonable deficit where you get all your protein, then see the results. This eating disorder shit people do is never maintainable.

No, you're not insane. There are plenty of things that are true for a lot of people, but not all. For some people, they eat a plain apple, and they feel completely satisfied. For me and others, eating a plain raw apple or plain carrot sticks results in a serious sugar spike and then an insulin spike, and instead we end up feeling way more hungry than if we'd eaten nothing at all and waited for the hunger to go away. For some people, intense exercise makes them absolutely ravenous, and they feel like they're dying of hunger. I get frustrated anytime females ask for weight loss advice or help or tips because they don't actually take any of it or they'll say that they're trying and when you actually ask them they'll either lie to your face or tell you such a ridiculous truth it's absurd. A female that I unfortunately had to interact with insisted that she really wanted to lose a bit of belly fat. It wasn't even that much, maybe like five pounds is what she wanted to lose. And at least she was honest with her diet. It was pretty much all candy and bread, that's all she ever ate. She would drink juice and soda and say the soda was a treat and juice is good for you so it's not that bad. Others would just lie and then I'd catch them later eating only candy and bread and ask why they didn't say they eat that. "Oh, this is a snack, it doesn't count!" Or you give the actual advice, and they say it's too hard, and that sounds extreme, or it sounds like a good way to get anorexia.

I think women are just more influenced by their circumstances. So female athletes would have a specific lifestyle or social group that would keep their weight low. A coach, for example. On the other hand, it would be next to impossible to get a female office worker who has fat friends to lose weight, unless someone got involved into her life and would personally micromanaged her.

Also if you think about it, walking is basically exercise for someone who is fat. So fat women are constantly "exercising", and constantly more hungry. If they finally get thin then their hunger will go back to normal.

That's my pet theory for now.

Hey guys so far i've gone from 234lbs down to 199lbs. I'm just curious how much does deep frying your food add to calories? Like let's say I made some chicken katsu all I used was egg and season breadcrumbs. Then I fried it in some veggie oil. I'm guessing it adds at least the same amount of calories the chicken breast has? Like I weigh the chicken afterwards and it weights 150grams I should add an extra 150grams for the oil right? I tried looking every on google but no where I could find an answer how much frying food in oil gives in calories.

The best thing that you can do is make an overestimate on how much possibly could have been absorbed. Remember you should be putting your katsu on a wire rack anyway to let any excess oil drip off. It's safe to assume that it absorbs at least a quarter cup of straight oil.

After that (starting in February), doing another 3 month cut with the same 2,000kcal diet as I'm on now, goal weight will be 79-81kg, maybe getting Bf% down to 15%.

Is this a bad idea? I have a certain degree of doubt about whether I should continue the cut for another few months if it's going so well so far, though progress is definitely slowing, and I don't trust myself to keep to it. My opinion is that the amount of calories you use working out is basically negligible unless you're up at olympic athlete bullshit where you're on a bike racing motorcycles up mountains for like 6 hours every morning. The only weight loss benefit of exercise is to increase your base metabolic rate which muscles do a wonderful job of actually.
Don't do intensity for the sake of intensity, work out to get better at working out because being an efficient mover means having a higher metabolism than lardo the clown.

Ideally, you want high intensity. The only metric that matters is how your body is responding. If you're not sweating, you're not straining.

As a large lad, walking is going to inevitably build up a lot of stress on joints and you'll want to slow down.

My suggestion is to vary your cardio workouts, try rowing or stationary bikes, to reduce excess wear and tear on joints. Keep the progress up, bud I was 305 and now I'm hovering around 200 and pushing for 180.

Por que no los dos? If you're literally just off the couch, bodyweight is fine. Maybe try a heavy resistance band before weights You can work a ton of different muscle groups and adjust the band to increase resistance so it's progressive overload too.
