Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 1g per lb of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

I just happen to have lost 10kg in 3 months, it's a very reasonable amount. Don't bother with those weird diets, just track your calories with a 700kcal deficit and you won't go hungry, you won't give up, and you will actually complete it.

The only reason you might go for something "extreme" is if you're less than 60kg or so. For reference my starting weight was 94kg and I'm 84kg now.

Thats 1000kcal a day deficit which is very achievable. I dont wanna sound like an authoritative asshole but do NOT engage in fad diets. There's no need and all you're doing is increasing your failure chance. If you follow a regular diet you might succeed 50%, if you fad diet youll probably fail 90%. Slow and steady wins the race

You can eat 1200-1400 calories a day with minimal exercise and lose 22 lbs in 10 weeks

you can eat 1600 calories a day if you walk an hour a day and lose 22lbs in 2 weeks.

800 is absurd, 1600 is manageable. Just do cardio bro it will regulate your hunger too which makes it easier

Fad dieting makes you tired, makes you crave more food, makes you feel less full, and then you will drop off

But weight loss has been harder than it's ever been.
Quantity of what I eat is also a struggle as I'm able to eat a lot, so I've been offsetting this with eating a lot of broccoli at home. If I can't find cheap broccoli, I'll switch to green beans.
Most discouraging is exercise. I used to be a lot stronger and fit enough to go on jogs with a decent ebook in my ear. I never got (((runner's high))) because it's fake and gay, but it felt decent enough to run relatively far and not get tired.
And I always used to enjoy the burn of lifting weights, but now it all just feels bad.
I don't know if it's the amount I weigh, but it's certainly discouraging.
Last weekend, I was at karaoke and for the first time in a long time, I made out with this redhead at 97kg and took selfies with her.
When I felt like I literally couldn't lift any more on the bench, I had a look at my pics on my phone and saw her and ended up making it through my workout.
It's shallow as shit, but I want to look better for thicc, redheaded sloots. I want my fingers to sink into white, freckled ass on tap.

There are basically two big categories of smartwatch: the WearOS ones (like Samsung) and the fitness trackers (like Garmin).
WearOS watches are like a mini smartphone on your wrist with more functionality, but with worse battery life (1 day vs 7+ days). I think fitness trackers are better for most people. All of the big brands like Garmin, Coros, Polar are all really good, and usually have different product lines which focus more on running or on general health tracking.
I personally wear a Garmin vivoactive 5 and I like it.

Maybe I'm a masochist, but I prefer running when it's dark and cold.
It doesn't feel as comfy now that it's almost summer. I would say to dress about 10C warmer than it really is. And try to have something covering your hands.
At about 0-5C I'll be wearing shorts, a thin running jumper over my shirt, and a beanie. But I can pull the jumper over my hands to keep them warm.
It's 16C and drizzling with rain here, and I'm about to head out for a comfy 5k.

In those 3 months you could do 12kg, without starving.
Just eat your BMR and walk until you've burned 1000 over and above that, (2 to 4 hours depending on your weight) and keep that as deficit.

I think it's more of quality of food in US compared to EU.
Portion size is larger, and most of it is softer and come with sugary drink.
In EU, food is harder and take longer to eat and the drinks are mostly coffee + milk.
Also none of the food are deep fried in EU.
At least this is what I think, since I went to EU few years back and lost ~50 lbs by just eating there.
Probably the easiest cut I've ever done.

cook your own burger. you can fit it in calories wise if you use leaner beef, no extra cooking oil, low-fat cheese, no bacon or fatty mayo sauces. since you have to put in some effort in, it's not an easy dopamine hit like fast food/restaurant burgers.
