How long would it take to go from left to right?
It doesn't have to be exactly like right, I'd be fine with a little less muscle.

Doable in 3 months? What about 4?

I'll answer this seriously OP because, well why not.

--- FAT ---
The first man is probably 20% bodyfat. The second 10% or less. It'll take you 3-6 months to lose that much fat. 3 months at a HARD deficit.

And you won't gain any muscle during this time.

--- MUSCLE ---
It'll take you 2-5 years of lifting to achieve the muscle mass of the right without steroids. Significantly faster if you use steroids.

--- Put this all together ---

Optimistically if you eat clean (no more than 200-500 cal surplus) and train consistently then 2 years of bulking plus 6 months of cutting and you should be able to get from left to right in 2.5 years.

Yes it takes time. But 2.5 years flies by, just be consistent.

Steroids will get you there faster, you can probably go from left to right in a year or so, but it'll require you to eat, sleep and train right and you just aren't going to do that.

Steroids will make you a fat narcissist unless you already have discipline. Is it worth the health effects if the psychological side effects are going to fuck up your diet and routine? I'd say don't touch roids until you've been training for a few years and know what you're doing.

Start lifting, first, and cutting out any bullshit food. Don't bulk right away, as it wouldn't make sense either. Eat slightly more than you do and stick to maingaining for few months. If you start noticing any progress, then, you can start a light bulk or even a serious bulk, if you're confident in your ability to self-control and are lifting enough, as well as doing light cardio (don't trust the anons that tell you to avoid cardio at all costs, they're gainz goblinos). Regardless, at 6 months you probably will start notice changes in your overall body composition. Guaranteed, you won't achieve that kind of physique anywhere before 12 months, if not more, if your starting point truly is the absolute DYEL on the left. I agree with reddit spacing newfag on avoiding steroids, nonetheless, and if you're not comfortable having to do stuff and wait to obtain that kind of physique and instead, you're willing to spend a lot of money to make gains that are perfectly achievable as a natty and undermine both your finances and your health in pursuit of it, you're a retard and there's a containment thread on here for retards like yourself where you can ask advice

Whether you should cut or bulk depends on how much fat you have on you as being skinnyfat is a spectrum. Maybe post an actual photo of yourself so we can judge.
I started lifting earlier this year as a 60kg skinnyfat and I was on the skinnier side of skinnyfat and didn't want to be a skeleton, so I started lean bulking. Now I weigh 68kg, and I look a lot better, and I haven't really even put on that much extra fat. Don't eat 5000 calories a day or whatever. Literally like 200 to 350 calories over maintenance and lift to failure with at least 2x frequency for everything.

Probably 5-6 months.
Easiest way to get lean without counting calories is limiting carbs to post workout, and every meal being meat and vegetables.
Maybe do some kind of intermittent fasting.
As for exercise, push ups, dumbell stuff and pullups would be enough. Add cardio, maybe jump rope, you can do all this at home.
As I'm typing this out I kind of want to do all this myself, but I'm invested in my squat and bench going up. It could all be so much easier.
