Can you build a thick forearm through lifting or is it solely genetics like calves?
>>
Forearms are a very buildable muscle. Why would they be solely genetic?

>somebody shooped a blonde into the pic
But why would someone do such a thing
>>
Just barbell row, deadlift without straps and goon.

that is all u had to say bot, and u retired thread as soon as u saw me - just a minute ago

there is no problem with building forearms, and there is no problem with building calves, it's perty simple actually - u just need to know how D:

hamstring curl with rubber on heel and as it leaves heel pressed with toes, knee locked on the floor (prone - u are being pulled by your foot) for hastrings and gastrocnemius
the internal hip thingie (pictured) linked above also doubles as biceps femoris u do not get from
>>extremely externally rotated hip from squats, deadlifts, hyperextensions, hip thrusts, leg presses, BSS, lunges, benchpress and ohp ( u do hip thrust in it), good mornings, zerchers - u get the idea

gluteus maximus and VMO - seated glute kikback into rubber band (i use combo of rope and power-band and proper anchor point on wall), sit on one buttock and upper thigh and slide working foot on the floor kicking back
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

the reason calves don't grow from calf raises is because calf raises is the wrong load on knee joint, gastrocnemius BENDS THE KNEE it doesn't extend it like like with calf raises, additionally gastroc will be poked by femur and kinked when u calf raise, u feel certain clunkiness performing the motion - that's muscle sliding on bone it's not supposed to

fuck off you massive faggot

Hit forearms directly, add them into your routine and be consistent.
Forearm extensions and curls for meaty forearms.
Farmer/waiter carries for grip.
I do kettlebell pronations and supinations. Grab the weight by its handle, the bell laying on a flat surface. Then pronate and supinate your hand.
Weighted dead hangs as well.

why is the guy's hand clipping through the laptop? did you have to ai generate a picture of an indian man with a white gf because you couldn't find a real one? this is so upsetting

anyway there's a french guy on youtube on roger c that basically just trains his hands and forearms, he'd be a good place to start. it's a tough one, because there is ultimately a genetic component to how good you can get at grip strength- you're going to be limited to a degree by the size of your hands, you can't really train bone length
