How do I go from being sedentary to being fit? Last time I tried to exercise my heart felt like it was going to explode (sadly im a vaxxie so that may never go away) and while trying crunches and squats I could feel like my stomach was about to rip into a hernia, not your average muscle soreness but literally the most painful tearing sensation that I felt if I pushed even one more rep that I'd be in the hospital.I've been walking 2-3 miles a day for the past few weeks, but I don't feel like that gets my heartrate up enough and the progress is slow as hell.

Posting a quick recipe1lb Cod - 360 calParmesan cheese 1/2oz - 50 cal1/2 tbsp butter - 60 calsLemon wedge for juiceFish seasoning, I use salt pepper and paprikaEasy garlic, 1tspCapersBalsamic vinegarTotal ~500 calsSeason cod, place in pan with butter, toss in garlic, squeeze of lemon. After flipping first side, cover that side with Parmesan cheese. Flip back to first side to melt cheese into fish. After fish is done, add a bit of balsamic vinegar to pan on low heat, scrape up the pan stuff and pour that over fish as a sauce. Add capers or whatever else. I had mine over arugula.

I am going to check in. I have been powersharting for too long. I can bench 3 plates for reps, etc. etc. have plenty of strength but am decidedly strongfat. 6'2, 288lbs was my start on February 24th, I've been seriously reducing my calories and eating habits. Cutting out most carbs, high protein diet, lots of those salad kit bags, etc. Almost 1 month in and I'm at 272lbs. It's not a gigantic drop but I'm trying to do this in a way which is sustainable in the long term which means completely reforming my habits around food.As recently as just 3 years ago I was around 230lbs, but my lifts were much weaker. It was fun while it lasted but I'm okay with having lower numbers at the gym for lower numbers on the scale.

Lastly you have two options for how to make this a lifestyle: - Option A: Have a regular exercise routine. Specific training you do at specific times in specific intervals. The advantage here is you can live the rest of your life as you want, just incorporate those training sessions.- Option B: Incorporate it into your lifestyle. This makes it far easier to do, but requires change. Get hobbies that happen outside. Make social commitments that involve walking, or doing something physical. Getting your 10k steps is astonishingly easy if you just go somewhere with someone. And never forget: Perfect is the enemy of good. Do not try to instantly be a bodybuilder. Any improvement is good. With just the heart rate stuff you can go to a level where life is much nicer already, the rest is just bonus.

Hi /fat/I have lost about 10 pounds from the beginning of February until now (176lbs to 166lbs). I have been going to the gym for 3 days a week, and has been cutting down to only plain chicken breasts (sometimes with veggies) while leaving lunch and breakfast mostly unchanged. I'm 172cm and started at 134.4kg. Today marks my first week of dieting. When you're this fat you lose weight by trying only a little. Today I literally lost half a kilo. I'm 132.2 now. I may have a long road ahead of me but I also have the advantage of easier and faster fat loss. I'm already preparing for smaller meals though, for later down the line
