Are sick. They drive so much blood into the muscles I'm just pumped all the time. They can isolate the biceps and pectorals with no other equipment, everything you do with them involves the hands and shoulders more than dumbbells do, and you can do interesting things like isolating scapular retraction. Don't sleep on them.

Which ones should I get?

I have ones that look like op image, you probably only need the first two lightest ones unless you look up some exercices I'm not doing.
There's thinner and broader ones that are even lighter, don't think you need those, they're for girls. The only hard thing you might wanna do that the girl bands would be useful for is lateral deltoid raises which is a very light movement.

I personally roll with these cheap ones from Walmart. They get the job done and come in their own drawstring bag for storage.
>>
If these pump you even with the heavier ones then you're simply a DYEL it's not that the bands are good

Can we see the fantastic physique you've built with exercise bands?
>>77288518
Bingo
>>
what's a good brand? these walmart & canadian tire ones wear out in six months
I only use it for warmups

>I only use it for warmups
How? Isn't warmups just same exercise with low weight and stretching is net negative

>They can isolate the biceps and
no, that's not possible, even lying on your side with upper arm pinned to padding and hooking band on wrist it's gonna be brachialis and brachiradialis as well - u need low anchor point
> and pectorals
sideways pull with bent elbow, sidways and little down -but again - musculature holding scapula WILL be used extensively (traps rhomboids and shit)
u can't really ever isolate anything

like if you press with arm in front of you as if it was on a sling (i have chest expander hanging off ceiling for that and use falsegrip) yes it will be whole triceps beautifull done but if rear delt didn't hold humerus vertically elbow would go forward, and again - muscles holding scapula will be used

>I'm just pumped all the time
pump is irrelevant, continuous (not constant) tension is where it's at
>>77288760
>backhand of course
>per your own endorsement bitch bot gpt :D
>>>77287912

>>>Kill jeets by backhanding them. There are enough of them to get a proper workout, though it depends a bit on where you live.
>i came up with it on my own but you helped me clarify the idea
into rubber band of course :D
and for that bands are the best because unlike anything else they are devoid of inertia, even cables have inertia because it's just weight hanging off cable ultimately, and inertia in your resistance robs you of continuity of tension - muscle isn't continuously working

>scapular retraction
depression bot - i use same chest expander for scapular depressions i just have to tie in more rubber to it , never retract scapulae - nerves and shit get mangled between em and then u can't clap your elbows at eye level (happens to benchers)
