This is what's required. However gamers who buy nvidia need to be shot in the streets, no trial.
It's that simple, they enable it. If they bought an Ampere, ada or blackwell card then they're asking for it.
They were warned, for years. And all they did was cry about drivers and that driver locked features were good actually, all while TDPs were pushed up and up.

No mercy.

Brain chips are too useful for the general public. If you can modify behaviour, state, hormonal responses then you can essentially cure issues outright. Alcoholism, addiction, neuropathy, pain response, depression, agoraphobia, anxiety etc are all up for grabs as easy wins if brain chips can stimulate the correct responses.

Think about this. See when you're hungry? You're not actually starving and you don't NEED to eat at the time. It's a hormonal response, ghrelin that comes in waves. If you ignore it, it can pass in as little as 20 minutes, your body does this until you shift into ketosis and start burning fat. Your body also takes up to 20 minutes after eating to tell you that you're full, that's why people can over eat and end up overweight.
Brain chips can solve that. The second your brain receives the first hunger response from Ghrelin, you can overwrite it to block the signal. No hunger, no crankyness. If you can also program in that the person drinks some water or takes in some electrolytes, you can have people run long term rolling fasting cycles of 72-96 hours without risk, without suppressing their metabolism.
Look at how ozempic works right now, you're talking about something like that, with almost no side effects as long as the brain chip is solid. Literally the only people who would be unable to lose weight in this world would be people with advanced diabetes; for people with pre-diabetes or light diabetes this can be worked on with a doctor.

Brain chips are simply too big for the next financial bubble. The tech has the ability surpass AI and AGI. It's as solid a concept as the sci-fi definition of ASI.

chinese electric car companies are subsidized by their government in an effort to flood the market with their junk. this has lead to a barrage of completely garbage new chinese car companies springing up to take advantage of said subsidies.

look at pic related. lower number of PP100 (problems per 100) are better. notice how chinese cars are significantly more likely to have problems? it's because they're fucking junk, like most chinese products. cheap temu junk

you are a shill or a retard

Since Floens, Dickcheese and Ponyfucker are all dead, in this thread we worship Dimitri for being the only faggot still doing his job, but we also throw shit at him for his questionable design choices.
My 2 cents:
Catalog search does not filter, it's just Ctrl+F
You can sort bookmarks in the bookmarks menu but not in the bookmarks swipe tab
Scrollbar is ugly and thick
Pic attachment is not I'm the reply area but it's on the opposite side of the screen
In the bookmarks tab, what's the difference between "unbookmark" and "delete"?
You can't swipe bookmarks away to unbookmark

I doubt your ram is going to brick or your hard drives are going to fail unless any of your components are over like 10 years old but if anything does fail then the good news is used hard drives are pretty cheap but the bad news is used memory is still expensive as fuck
>>
>>107641839
New hardware has price setting authority over used, but that stuff is still cheap as shit no matter how much ecelebs and brokies kvetch. PC gaming is a very inexpensive hobby. See how far 128GB of DDR5 gets you playing with guns or pickemup trucks.

why does
nmap -sn 192.168.1.0/24
say 255 hosts up from a linux vm but only 7 hosts up in wsl2? i think theres more than 7 things on this network but i could be wrong, that might be everything.

the vm is showing the same things with the same addresses but the command itself takes much much longer to run than the same on wsl2, why is that?
>>
Anyone with network support / administration experience? It's probably a very basic question, I hope, but... seems like a huge roadblock in my company. Imagine the following scenario
>There is a website the user wants to connect to.
>The website's frontend works, but part of its functionality doesn't (after you click a button it sends an API request to a different endpoint, which returns 403 Forbidden).
>The 403 issue happens only on the company's network. Doesn't occur if I am connected via remote.

Apparently, this means that all the Experts(tm) don't have to do anything until I return to the office, which is physically closed until the second week of January.

Is it really not possible for them to test if the issue was resolved without me connecting to the website and clicking the button/connecting to the API endpoint while they're watching me live, like a trained monkey? Shouldn't the network team have some way to test this themselves by using our company's network as a proxy? I failed my network class in university, so I may be baffled due to my own lack of knowledge. But it's just baffling that the whole fixing process cannot proceed without some Indians looking at me doing the same thing over and over and over again even though it's already explained a hundred times in the ticket.

Faster is better, although RAM speed is something overclockers typically worry about. RAM can be overclocked sometimes in the mobo options btw, so you can check out the performance diff yourself if you manage to do that. Otherwise, if you really wanna test it out, I suggest doing the experiment yourself once you get some faster clock RAM. The extra speed of the RAM will help the machine's OS with doing math

If you're allowed to put the expressions flush to the left such that there's no space before the initial "(", you can just do:
M-x align-regexp RET SPC RET

Just align on a single space character.

I think so, once you got it interactively it's possible to wrap the command inside a save-excursion block with whatever initial mark placement you need

(defun align-let-value-forms ()

(unless (and (listp (sexp-at-point))

i just found out stuff like this
(let ((foo)
(bar)))

is syntactically correct in elisp.

this code doesn't take such forms into account, so replace the (while sexps ...) form with
(while sexps
(when (listp (car sexps))
(if (/= 2 (length (car sexps)))
(forward-sexp)
(down-list)
(forward-sexp 2)
(backward-sexp)
(setq point-column-alist

Embrace the full install, honestly. I used to care about having a "minimal" system with as few packages as possible, as well, to save on space. Over the years I've realized that this is a massive waste of time. Dependencies will install all sorts of unnecessary shit, and having to constantly keep your system updated to install new software is a pain.
Instead, embrace it: It's only some 12gb, and whenever you're looking for a program to do what you want, it's a delight to find out that something that can do it is already installed and ready to go, so you don't have to waste time comparing different programs to do the thing, and can just use whichever is already installed. I always look at slackware for my software selection.
The only package suite worth skipping is KDE, but I'd advise even against that, as it has very good tools like a better pdf viewer than xpdf.
>>
>>107641726 (Me)
Similarly, when building software it's incredible to already have all the dependencies available and not have to waste time hunting for the right -dev packages.
>>
>>107633705
Noob detected.

Slackware is unironically the worst distro in the world:

* single maintainer who may or may not decide to keep doing it
* old software
* outdated packages with unpatched security holes (unlike Debian Stable -- they backport fixes into their outdated versions, which is a ton of work, requiring a big team)
* broken dependencies galore, unless you just install everything

I was fed up with the recent laggy and bloated windows release so I checked out Mint but it was pretty janky and not a great experience overall, a lot of my programs didn't work on it as well
But then I got recommended a youtube tutorial on installing an older windows version and it made me wonder if that would be a viable alternative so I read some guides and turns out you can actually still use that version just fine if you install a modern web browser and a firewall
I was expecting to have to tinker a bit to get new programs working on it but turns out they just work out of the box
I wish Mint was as pleasant of an experience because I enjoy customizing things and it's kind of known for that, but it really falls flat in comparison
Anyone else here switched to older windows?
