Uk gov, probably some city council or whatever, contracted some retards to make educational "game" for high schoolers about encountering dangerous illegal ideology. That alone might have made it a topic of conversation but they put in a racist art hoe with a purple bob and a choker to be the main character's problematic friend who he's supposed to say no to. So she's now the waifu du jour

1) get mullvad
2) get 2 virtual machines
.....make sure one has 2 ethernet (one internet, one host-only), and the other just 1 ethernet (host-only, connected to first's host-only)
3) get linux on both
4) get dnsmasq set up on the first to do DHCP on the host-only interface
5) install mullvad vpn to first, make sure if the VPN drops that nothing gets forwarded from host-only interface directly over the internet
6) install aria2 to second
7) enjoy pirating, learn real trading by downloading ITPM's IPLT, PTM, PFTM, and POTM
8) BONUS: install bitmagnet to second, keep it running for weeks, boom private torrent search!

I recently had a funny interaction, i took a piss at a starbucks and didn't buy anything. There's two indians wearing jackets and sandals in 55 degree weather drinking coffee outside using ridiculously oversized android tablets, speaking some impenetrable hindu gobbedygook with "14 inch" "amoled" "galaxy" peppered through. They see this meme phone in my hand and they're too polite or illiterate to say anything to me about it but it's obvious that they're gawking at it. Not in a jealous way, in a mocking way.

But they're indians holding comically oversized tablets outside of a starbucks. It dawned on me that their society is built on caste based elitism so they think that holding an even bigger and more expensive ipad makes them look successful. But they just look like stereotypical third worlders, some white guy with a cheap blackberry clone completely shatters that illusion

Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

It isn’t a bad browser. It’s got the best version of native vertical tabs of any browser I’ve used.
Although I wouldn’t agree that all browsers are spyware. There are plenty of Chromium and Firefox forks that remove telemetry.
They also have liked to remove genuinely good features like the sidebar and collections, so watch out for that.

i just bought a DP > VGA adapter for my crt monitor, works great. i might have gotten lucky, but it's done all the weird custom modes i've tried just fine, including interlaced. i haven't tried it with my tv yet (15kHz modes), just moved so haven't had a chance to try it for that yet.
one thing to keep in mind is if you have a higher end/later crt with high hsync speed, you may need to confirm if the dac in the adapter can go as high as you need. this crt i have currently only does 70kHz which is quite low.
there should be no difference between an internal vga ramdac on a gpu and an external one on an adapter, it's the same technology only it's now not included on gpus as a standard feature.
i don't know what model i have as it's a completely unlabelled chinese product

When large investors aren't interested in AI companies, where will the money come from?

Sorry, but the ones that will end up holding the bags are the poor taxpayers.
The rich always wins.
>>
>>107887560
Obviously they vanish.
No company in this closed circle is making actual profits, they all just grow thanks to investooors pumping cash into them or by transfering money from one pair of hands to another. But they all have their own operational costs so if there will be no investors constantly feeding into this system, money will start leaking out of it.
The true winner is not Altman but his personal secretary spending hours with his cock in her mouth.

No-one is getting $200/month value out of chapGPT.
>>
Most people will just happily stop using these services instead of paying.
I assume that's why for example Microjeet wants to integrated AI into Office. Force already healthy products that people pay for to become load bearing for AI spend.
>>
>>107888473
>>The point still stands, just make ChatGPT's subscription 200$ a month.
>As of January 2026, Netflix has approximately 301.6 million global subscribers
200$ a month in perpetuity from 300 million people sounds extremely unlikely for what chatgpt offers

At what point does the syntax become so terrible that its simply not worth using the language no matter the benefits it might have under the hood? Because c# is the most disgusting shit ive ever seen in my life. Why would they call it "c#"? It doesnt seem similar to c in any way. I mean to be honest the only thing ive ever done with it is write hello world then immediately rage deleted .NET off my system because the syntax disgusted me so much. Whats confusing to me is knowing that many people have actually kepy using the lang after that point. Whats the worst syntax youve ever seen?

>Why would they call it "c#"?

>>
>>107888342
C# is not bad in its modern form. It used to be total cancer because you were forced to write everything in a cancerous object oriented style with the
namespace MyApp {
static class Program {
public static void Main(String[] Args)
{
REAL CODE GOES HERE
}
}
}

kind of bullshit but nowadays I hear you can just write code directly in the file and it works.

Are you guys seriously still using a keyboard?

Serious modern OS's have at least some accessibility accommodations which include an on screen keyboard.

This onscreen keyboard can often be customized to such a point that I personally find it easier and in some use cases faster to use than a conventional clunky keyboard.

INB4 "muh gaymes" let's grow up here, if you're still using a personal computer for gayming you've got bigger issues that need to be sorted out on your own time.

It's not as accurate color as IPS or OLED does but it looks vivid, neutral and with not much backlight glow. I'd rather watch videos and play games on my IPS monitor, but it's still acceptable. That's why it's a side monitor.

If you have RGB or BGR pixel order, have your ClearType set up correctly, and don't display at a non native resolution, it will have no more fringing than any other edge between black and white. Why do you seem to think that "RGBRGBRGBRG___" has any more fringing than "RGBRGBRGB______"?

How in the everloving fuck is Radeon not smoking NVIDIA GPUs all these years with these numbers? What if they were able to run the same software as though NVIDIA made them? AMD GPUs have always had more raw teraflops over the years (especially double precision, such as on the Radeon VII) and yet this is never reflected in most real world tasks.

Seriously, on paper this should handily beat an RTX 4080. Can someone explain WTF is going on here? Why is this calculator not out-calculating the other calculator despite being able to do more calculations? Are the calculations just retarded and less valuable than the other calculations from the other calculators and thus not directly comparable or what?
