very nice OP, amazing workseveral years ago i became interested in how smudging worked and tried to implement some virtual "brush tools" in graphicsmagick. after much trial and error i found the right formula to make a smudge tool simulator happen (you would define the size of the brush and provide an x,y array to define the path the brush would take), i ended up losing the code but found a couple of screenshots, it felt like such an accomplishment lol. it is very cool seeing what you did with paint b/c i didn't even know you could modify the program itself, so i am blown away
