Why isn't it a ball joint?
>>108510985Why is a man vacuuming?
>>108510985the ball is evil and will destroy your wrist
>>108510985a vacuum would require a hose smaller than the ball in the joint so the ball joint would be pretty big compared to two normal hinges carrying a hose which would still offer the necessary two degrees of freedom. if you need a third axis a flexible hose in a bearing is still better than stuffing a hose in a big ball (for a vacuum you dont need true 360 deg freedom along the shaft but even then you can seal bearings to be air tight enough pretty trivially in terms of design, though the cost might be a little high for a shitty domestic vacuum)and it looks double hinged to me so its probably fine to use as is but still saves weight and is relatively easy to assemble and marginally serviceable once delivered to the consoomer so im not really seeing an issue with the device in the opyet again software "engineers" prove that they are not good at engineering, let alone even understand the physical world around them at all

>>108511011>I thought ram was supposed to go downWho the hell told you this?
Ram was at a historic all time low because they made too much capacity during lockdown expecting the world to need more hardware perpetually. That didn't happen and thus the price cratered. The price you see now is very close to the new normal it will maybe go down from 400 to 300 but not reach the unprofitable lows we saw two years ago. That will most likely never happen again.
The scarcity of affordable ram has created demand for moar ram.The cheat is to just go back to ddr4 ram.
room scale wireless chargingis there some dumbass reason why whole room/building/neighborhood wireless charging isnt a thing
>>108508380It is a thing already. Prototype devices exist. I mean, near consumer grade stuff. Chink phones might roll out something like that soon, but it's a gimmick, power losses are very high. It can figure out where your device is only if you have wifi with very precise beamforming capabilities. So it's a phisical tracker, 0 privacy. Also >>108508409 is not a joke, it can do that. Maybe not your brain. But your balls and eyes? That's the most vulnerable parts of a human body when it comes to high power rf emissions that can cook you.
Wireless charging already requires the charger to be just right to even work. A centimeter in one direction will kill the connection.
>>108508380companies were developing this like a decade ago, but i think it's really expensive and hard to deliver enough power.

>>108514393Some people don't want to spend way past $1,000 for a gaming video card, it's not about "can't". The new games out there are pretty uneventful. Some people don't want a gaming video card that consistently draws over 400W of power, especially one with no load balancing on the PCB.
>>108514393>this does NOT make them safer in any capacity if you have a good cable with less than 2A gap per pinA video card that is designed to draw less power through the new power connectors are safer because they're operating at a higher safety margin.
