what's the largest 70b quant that I can run on my shitty 5090 and how big will the context be?
>>
>>107631197
not a good one, probably not worth running a 70b with less than 48gb (Q4 is about 38gb + context)
>>
>>107631197
IQ3XXS with maybe 16k context if you are lucky. you will get around 25t/s to 35t/s

Trump's second term would be W11: a fucking mess but it's supporters are willing to turn a blind eye to all its faults.

Trump's first term would be W10: Its fans stuck with it expecting the next iteration to be more of the same but it was worse.

Biden would be W10 ARM. In essence is the same as W10 but in practice is completely useless, doesn't fix any of the issues of W10 and has its own problems.

FAQ:
>How do I activate Windows?
HWID2 generates and registers a permanent legitimate license on MS's activation servers
github.com/massgravel/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts
Usage: paste this into Powershell, run.
irm https://get.activated.win | iex

>and Office?
Same link, select Ohook option
You can also use Office.com if your needs are very minimal
or try OnlyOffice/LibreOffice and set it to save in MSOffice file formats

Any reason to upgrade from regular 11 pro to enteprise or ltsc or iot?

also considering downgrading back to 10 ltsc just for security updates cuz 11 taskbar is aids and micro freezes all the time wtf why don't they fix this shit
but I worry that in a couple of years new games will not work on ten anymore

For example, I just switched to wezterm. All of my widgets, like in pic below, rely on keybindings and window rules to function. All of them had to be changed. I can't imagine trying to get a window to the exactly correct place on the screen after resizing it, when you have to recompile each time things don't line up. Further, if I come up with a handy script, I can incorporate it into my config in minutes.

What’s up with all the anti Windows 7 posts lately?

I switched from Gentoo to Windows 7 Platinum a few weeks ago, and I haven’t had a single issue so far.

It’s noticeably faster than any DE or WM I’ve tried, which honestly surprised me, especially considering I’m running an RTX 5090.

At first, I was worried about security and getting hacked. But it turns out I can install a fully up to date browser and a modern firewall, so that’s no longer a concern.

It’s also much easier to use overall. The UI is consistent, clear, and easy to read. Because of that, I installed it on my girlfriend’s laptop and my parents’ PC as well and they’re really happy with it.

I genuinely don’t understand why some people are so strongly opposed to it, especially considering the massive influx of AI generated packages Linux distros have seen in recent months.

I’m pretty confused by this too. I switched from Ubuntu to Windows 7 back during COVID, and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. People warned me about software compatibility issues, but everything just works. Even my 9000X3D works perfectly.

The dev of vxkex (api extension for win7) said he's seen thousands of new downloads just this month
Go on youtube and search windows 7, look how many videos there are of people realizing it's actually good and microsoft is fearmongering you
Go to any zoomer dominated tech space and you will see how many of them are on windows 7

seriously, I never looked back. Fuck vlc, even the mobile version is annoying, shit stutters everytime you start a video.
>>
>>107592470
I did notice a difference which made me switch permanently: I have a ton of weeb anime with Opus audio, and it tends to crackle on VLC for no good reason. It's not even a recent, unknown audio format, and I have noticed it frequently enough that it pissed me enough to switch after nearly 20 years of using VLC for everything. Fuck knows why it even happens, but at least the audio's clear in MPV, same as if I opened the video file on an audio player like foobar2000.

If I already used QFIL to unlock the bootloader on my phone using the 9008 method, can I use it to get a copy of the boot.img (or init_boot.img) in order to root the phone with Magisk as well?

This is the last obstacle that I've had before trying to install LineageOS for the past few years.
