right so you're agreeing AI still needs experienced engineers handling it
and is not a replacement for said engineers

>Why do /g/tards think they are better coders than AI when the average /g/tard has never made it out of monkey-see-monkey-do tutorial hell?
Because humans in general like posturing and ego-stroking. It's easier to do when you compare the other option to some ideal (like an ideal programmer instead of your actual self, or the average guy pushing broken code to hit gh repo). This isn't reserved just for AI, you can see the same in people discussing everything from sports, movie making, writing, etc. People who hardly exercise are going to yell at a professional player on a screen for a minor screw up.
>>
>>107889711
Nobody besides salesmen and (ironically enough) hysterical anti-AI people suggested that it is. Imagine that: when you use a tool you actually get to know its strengths and weaknesses and how to operate it, and when you have no clue because you basically never touched it, you go off of stupid headlines designed to bait you into engaging.

Holy digits

At what point does the syntax become so terrible that its simply not worth using the language no matter the benefits it might have under the hood? Because c# is the most disgusting shit ive ever seen in my life. Why would they call it "c#"? It doesnt seem similar to c in any way. I mean to be honest the only thing ive ever done with it is write hello world then immediately rage deleted .NET off my system because the syntax disgusted me so much. Whats confusing to me is knowing that many people have actually kepy using the lang after that point. Whats the worst syntax youve ever seen?

The best syntax is haskell but the bedt syntax for a language thats actually useful is C++.

I just downloaded Linux for the first time to get away from Windows bloatware and I had to input 7 commands in the command line to install ProtonVPN including one to download a separate program that allows system tray icons.... is this really the best we have? On Windows and MacOS I just hit install and it installs....

I used Linux Mint on bare metal for several months before going back to Windows because I needed something that did not work on Wine.
Now I no longer need that shit so I am read to back to Linux.

Should I keep using Mint or take the next step to a distro that's more advanced? What even is the next step after Mint?
>>
Sounds like you're ready for NixOS
>>
>>107888928
>"Should I keep using Mint or take the next step to a distro that's more advanced?"
LFS is the best option
>>
>>107888928
I would say choose a distro with a minimal installer and a package manager/release cycle that you like. That is the next logical upgrade to something like mint. IMO it is the best way to have almost exactly the system that you want with nothing more and nothing less, whilst also not being a huge time sink like LFS or Gentoo.

>>

if mint gives the packages you need then there's no "next step".
I'm personally on Fedora because package support just wasn't there for my laptop on Debian/Mint.

Do you guys know of any bluetooth DACs for brokies? I modded my Superlux hd681's to have a removable cable because I was tired of how many times the same failure happened (left side soldering giving out), it's mostly my fault after the first repair I did.

I kinda want one that I can just hang it off the side.

Attached picture is my handywork.

Why does everyone thinks me using a laptop gives them permission to look at what I'm doing on it? every single person that comes to talk to me then takes an unashamed peek to my screen. They don't do that to people using phones. I find it so irritating, they think because I use a big screen I'm not entitled to privacy.

help me perform RAM memory overclocking because the niggers from /v/ chased me away because I went there because it’s dead here, the prodigal son has returned
I have an ASRock B650 LiveMixer, two sets of G.Skill Flare X5, DDR5, 32 GB, 6000 MHz, CL30, that is 4 sticks of 16 GB, and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
Currently I have 3600 MHz CL40.
On the ATX ASUS PRIME X670-P motherboard there was a ready preset that worked on all sticks at 6000 MHz CL30, so it is possible.
well, I pasted this to them and that was enough, in English of course; I’ll add that I experimented with ready-made 6000 MHz factory presets from ASRock, but the computer doesn’t boot, I have to remove the battery to reset the BIOS.

Four mixed sticks is boderline impossible to overclock unless on Intel, rip bozo.
If it doesn't post with 4800mhz then lowering the frequency further is the only option.
Or use 2 sticks instead of four, sell the other two while the prices are still high and buy 2x16GB when the prices go back to normal.

And why the fuck would anyone use 4 mixed sticks with AMD lol ?

Oh shit nigger, you have 4x16GB, i thought it was 4x8GB.
OCing this is even harder on AM5 (or outright impossible on most MOBO's).
If you just need your RAM for gaming, i'd just keep two 16GB, put them in dual channel and call it a day, sell the rest.
Why do you need 64GB for anyway ? Local AI ?

reminder that troons orchestrated an hostile take-over of the project.
another reminder that hte project is going downhill ever since, they're censoring their forums, stole project money for themselves, stopped writing docs for nix tools, cheaped out on infrastructure, went on a massive retroactive censorship and witch hunt, doxxing and tried to get fired any while man who was an troon activist and probably more since I stopped following whatever the fuck was happening to this project.

When it is never completed it cannot be insecure.
To wit: Redox-OS. This pile of hype is now over 10 years old and still unusable as a daily driver. Compare this to Linux that was usable as a daily driver in 1995, after 4 years. Or you can compare to SerenityOS (written in c++) which is more recent than Redox-OS but far more usable.
It is symptomatic of the failure of Rust that they are now migrating to Linux to insert their stuff into the kernel and they have also penetrated various distrubutions. For Ubuntu, this resulted in upgrade failures, an unforgivable regression. And they even pumped their code into Ubuntu when it failed the exiting test suite.

Rust is therefore closely connected to severe mental illness and delusions of adequacy.

Meanwhile Godot's trimesh is so slow it cannot even run smoothly on modern hardware (and also broken since version 4), while anything other than trimesh will cause the player to literally fall through the stage?

It ran poorly on a lot of computers that were in use when it came out. It also came pre-installed on a lot of computers which had shit specs and were supremely bloated too, effectively too slow for it. In addition to that the driver model change or whatever it was that MS did starting with Vista brought along a lot of instability / BSODs for a while, as well as trouble with getting older stuff you already had to work with Vista.
