The specific context here is not that it was done. But rather the performance. Rosetta is noted for its performance. This performance derives from hardware support. Microsoft cannot replicate Rosetta because of this.
>>
>>107687500
Qualcomm made something of the sort though it isn't as efficient. And even so, Rosetta itself is only so good. Code still runs considerably slower through it.
>>
>>107689903
It was always noted for its performance. Their 68k translation layer was so good they took 10 years to fully drop it. This is an area where Apple has demonstrated excellence since before your junkhead was born.
>>
Too early. RISCV is the architecture the Chinese gov wants its manufacturers to eventually use so I'm confident it won't go away. However, I don't see it prevailing until China can produce its own CPUs in large quantities.
>>
>>107688941
RiSC-V has the totality of US academia behind it. One would have thought that that would be worth something. A good fab line is generally available, just call TSMC.

>blows the fuck out of you're kernel level anti cheat
this is fucking hilarious. doesn't matter if apex, valorant, rust, cs2 faceit or any other league. any FPS is currently unplayable because kids run color/ML aimbots on their second pc and forward inputs to their gayming pc with this 40$ passthrough device. and all the jeet AC devs are too stupid to write an aimbot detection algo that doesn't result in 6 million false positive bans. (the valorant jeets literally used their RAT malware anticheat to check&ban players that stream a centered screen region which is smaller than 512x512 pixels).

that's me, and I really wish I could work with Python instead of PowerShell. Retries and exception handling in PS are a nightmare, but sadly there's a lot of things you can only do in PS, like accessing your Microsoft email servers. Sucks working in a company that has bought the whole MS package

Installed this bad boy today locally on my laptop (i dont care about network wide adblocking), it's better than simply putting the public servers on control panel because i have this dashboard where i can view statistics and easily block sites with a toggle switch.

It is better in some cases, but i dont like to use browser extensions.

brave probably uses its own ublock origin, i think. Extensions have full access to webpage content, and they do wide spectrum blocking, that means they can filter scripts and dynamic content. DNS adblockers can block only domains, so if the site serves ads in the same domain, you can't block it (youtube does this)

There was a time you could DNS block YouTube ads, since they were on a separate server.
YouTube fixed that shit pretty quick though when DNS blocking became normie tier.

>>
>>107688557
Not likely your fault; Should flash the SD card with the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS or find another OS that supports ARM processors. Then depending on which OS you pick, you're going to want to install and configure a firewall and web browser and you should see better results. When you log in, use choose the x11 desktop so it uses less iGPU
>>
>>107687434
Yeah, boot to the windows 10 installation disk, open cmd and type bootrec.exe /fixboot

Windows does have better audio drivers some times.

New version is out.

Also, why was my previous thread deleted? This is a software-based application explicitly engineered for operation within the computational and telecommunications framework of a handheld mobile device, ok? It is therefore unambiguously situated within the broader domain of contemporary technological systems, infrastructures, and applied digital sciences, and as such relevant to /g/.
