I simply stopped sharing my drawings online. But I don't make money from this so that explains some of the outrage.

What's /g/'s opinion on Mental Outlaw? I've been a fan of his for a long long time, he's the one that made me privacy conscious and made me switch to Linux. I remember once reading in one of his comment sections that he was "bullied off /g/" by some guy, is this true? Also, if you're seeing this thread Kenny, hi!

>>107671637>no way to piratethat's not true, though piracy was quite different then. i'm not old enough to have seen that first hand (i was 5 in 1995) but i have since learned of what people did (ftp servers, bbs's, sneakernets, mailing floppies, etc). it's certainly more accessible now but people absolutely pirated software well before 1995. many groups you've heard of like razor1911 started in the '80s

Best theater speakers? Trying to help my dad get some good ones, for reference he’s looking at top of the line genelecs.
>>107669478The fit is incredible. Like I mentioned the ear cups are super deep so I love that feel. Somehow they're the same weight as 558s which weigh 260 grams like most of the all plastic Sennheisers. I'm 6'3" and definitely don't have a small head but I use them on the 5th notch out of 12 notches on the headband and there's plenty of lateral bending you could do. I've never tried the 600s so I don't know about the clamping but I have some Beyer DT 1770 gen 1 and they clamp a lot less than those. They're the classic Sennheiser feel where they disappear on your head and that's why they're the best brand in my eyes.
so what was the logic with focals headbands on the clear? even before the snapping headbands it doesn't seem like the fabric cover was a part they sold and any material was just going to eventually wear out and would of become quite uncomfortable. I always wanted to try a pair and i've started seeing some pop up used with chinkfiman headbands now but that doesn't sound very epic for a $800 cad used headphone
>>107672934Don't ask the logic behind the ergonomics of any headphone because there's none. Almost feels like they aren't even using the headphones they're making.
>>107671681>ssl 2 mkiiI don't have any experience with that device but in practical terms I really doubt their driver can be as bad as the one for the Scarlett interfaces. I had a Scarlett 18i8 that I had to abandon due to the extremely shit driver and I went to an Audient Evo 16 which has an entirely stable and reliable driver as far as I can tell. The Evo 16 also needs its own special sauce driver, but like I said, at least that one doesn't cause trouble (and the unit itself has a few extra features).I can only speak to these 2 devices, I haven't really used any other audio interfaces.
bought an older XP computer cause I wanted an older machine to just own, I like the look of the old computer cases and wanted something that could run some old programs and cd-roms, didn't feel like emulating on my main pc.anyway my problem is I'm struggling to make out some of these parts, and also what to do in regards of if I need to add anything else to it. I'm gonna have to post like 5 comments under this with all the screenshots......
>>107669074thats 64mb being dedicated to the chipset in the bios>>107669048it works right? it looks pretty slow but its standardized atx parts. you can use iobit driverbooster to install missing drivers and then uninstall it because its aidsif you find that its too slow, because its pretty fucking slow, go on ebay and search under motherboard + cpu combo for anything that has a core 2 duo and includes ram, lots of those boards still have ide support and you wont have to change your disk or cd drive, dont spend more than $50
>>107672766The green jacketed caps near the AGP slot look like the Teapos I just had to replace on one of my boards
>>107672848Ah ok then, is there a specific one I should look for or would any new PSU work? Not too excited to be spending a lot since this was just supposed to be a fun little $100 thing but if it’s important I guess I have to>>107672888According to the ebay listing yes it works. I'm unsure how fast or slow it is as I'm still waiting for it to get delivered. I'll definitely remember to do that if it is slow, thanks!
>>107672970Not the guy you're replying too and I don't have a specific model recommendation but you'll want to avoid anything marketing itself as silent as the PSU is expected to exhaust heat in these older cases so the fan needs to be moving air constantly
>>107672970>didnt buy this thing from a yard saleyikes dude, im guessing you already paid at least $50 for shipping

The sole reason why VLC is superior to MPC/V
>>107672363nah, those amps just made 11 correspond to 100% volume, like marshall's did.volume above 100% in digital application just means boosted volumes, so you lose dynamics between what used to be low vs high. in the worst cases high volume just saturates and creates a mess
mpc goes to 150%
