So it's one of the older models before they changed the headband. If you have a chance to actually touch them then as long as there are fazors(they protrude slightly from inside the cups, look like picrel but you won't see them) then it's the model with the newer drivers. The tuning doesn't really matter when you EQ but their are very few measurements of the pre fazor versions and the tuning from unit to unit varies between 3-6dB at times which is why I'm saying this.

Their stuff basically doesn't distort up to 120+dB so you can apply a huge bass shelf and then listen to bass heavy tracks and feel your eardrums vibrate, amazing experience. Main reason why I always liked their stuff.

The pads are actually kind of similar to those so yeah, it's kind of like with them.

Not even once. I haven't forgotten the dying Susvaras nor have I forgotten my own two pairs of cans I've bought from them dying. Same reason I sold my Arya. Not to mention pairs like Edition XS having a huge resonance in the treble. I guess FiiO and Moondrop are better but even then I've heard of dying drivers sometimes.

Nobody told me the dactyl was a poison chalice. The trackball version looked interesting but the more I see it the less it actually is appealing in regards to ergonomics.

Mine is old-style a.k.a. can be a little bit bitchy to callibrate, but it can also measure its own printbed with 120 points (o algo) and do some other nifty things (frequenct sweep the whole flat to calculate a vibration compensation table) so I'm happy with it. Assembly piss easy.
Can print "exotic" stuff like nylon but I'll just stick to PLA until I get a box to put it in and extra ventilation.

I got one 5 years ago. There are long periods I don't use it, but it's a handy thing to have. Printing broken plastic pieces on a car, random hooks and other shit around the house... I've been thinking of getting a newer one since they're apparently a lot better but not sure if I'm able to justify it with my level of usage

Anon, I appreciate your good intentions but think of it a little further.
By generating demand of these machines and the consumables it uses, you ARE feeding the capitalist machine. And the factories that make them, are also feeding a bigger machine.

It's almost impossible to no feed it at this point, one way or another.

But it's a lot better than buying new stuff for each of the people you want to gift to.

My problem too. I know the new corexy machines like the bambu far outclass my old prusa bedslinger and it sure would be nice to print to much faster when I am printing things but eh, my machine is extremely reliable and good enough. Maybe worth it to get something large when I eventually upgrade for more print volume.

From my brief anecdotal experiences, I've had flash be marginally looser than pro, but they still spit out refusals to an almost unusable degree. Even without coom trying to get pro to give a response is like pulling teeth sometimes. I know it's probably a skill issue with presets but I'm kind of at a loss on how to get around it consistently, so I've just stuck with 2.5 flash

ITT we share helpful firefox user_prefs that make it better. I'll start.
user_pref("full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter", "0 0");
user_pref("full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave", "0 0");
user_pref("full-screen-api.warning.timeout", 0);
This removes the annoying banner saying press ESC to exit fullscreen every time you fullscreen a yt video.

user_pref("browser.engagement.downloads-button.has-used", true);
With this in your user.js before you open the browser it won't popup instructions on obvious features. I have a pretty big user.js based on betterfox that disables telemetry and toggles all the settings the way I like them so it's completely configured on install without doing anything, and then I've added a bunch of minor quality of life conveniences like these. Share yours anons.
