If I want to play very old/very undemanding windows games, would it be prudent to wait it out till next year for a windows tablet or would a galaxy tab s9 be sufficient? I can get one for 600 bucks new and would only use it a tablet/e-reader/media viewer and playing undemanding shit via winlator.

I got a pi4 vilross kit with 4gb ram, heatsinks and fan case. Trying to use it for a media browser through chromium or firefox and it's abysmally slow. YouTube barely loads. Twitch is even slower. Graphics access is enabled in chromium.
64gb samsung SD card with 64bit Bookworm OS preloaded in it.
Used terminal to check temps and it reported 35 C. Used top to check processes and nothing seems abnormal. I disabled Bluetooth just in case it helps overhead a tiny bit.
The whole thing is slow as fuck honestly. People said it can work as a nice little mini pc for casual web browsing but I'm not seeing it. What did I fuck up?

yeah it is much easier that way to look for faint objects, instead of just star hoping
use stellarium or cartes du ciel or some other program to know where to look beforehand
also if you get that inclinometer, put some red tape on it, or mylar tape, so it is more dark vision friendly. not that it is bad
